iGet Pranky

Okay so the fourth and fifth seasons of iCarly finished rerunning (sort of, since they replay after iQ every time).  But as I noticed with season 2 and 3 they leave out episodes that are only 30 minutes.  iGetPranky is NEVER shown on YTV and it's one of the funniest episodes.  So I bought it on iTunes.  I have watched it three times since buying it.  Why?  Cause it's HILARIOUS.

Favourite parts:  the entire montage of Spencer to "The Joke is on You" where he goes and pranks everyone!  It's flipping awesome.  And just when you think it's over he double pranks Carly.  So I love it!

Then when Sam and Freddie slam into the clear plastic and Sam says she has a small crush on Spencer.  LOVE IT!

I wish they'd play ALL the episodes.  Why they leave this one out I have NO idea.  I know it's one of the cast's faves and it's one of the BEST Spencer episodes of all time.

Buy it YO!

My iBalls mistake!

Well in my last blog entry I said that iBalls was the only episode from season 5 NOT to air in Canada.  Well I was WRONG.  While away I PVRed some episodes and YTV did air it last Thursday night.  My bad!

The iCarly cast is gearing up for the Kids Choice Awards which will air 5:30pm PST on Nick Canada this Saturday!  If you haven't voted it's super easy to do.  Just go onto Nick.com and place your VOTE!  There are tons of fun categories and you can vote as many times as you want.  Personally I voted for iCarly, Miranda and I managed to return to vote for Jerry, Nathan AND Jennette because I just can't decide which one should get it!

I'll report on the KCAs Saturday night :)

According to his tweet today, Nathan was trying on his KCA outfit and had picked it!  Yay!  Can't wait to see if a vest appears or not.

iApril Fools AND Nathan's Ustream Updates!

Good evening all,

Today was great!  All because I was able to find iApril Fools on my secret source channel and also watch Nathan Kress' Ustream!  So here are my thoughts on both:

iApril Fool's Review

We start off Season 6 Episode 1 with one of the WEIRDEST episodes I've ever seen.  Jerry Trainor directed this one as well!

Main Plot:  Spencer and Carly are being evicted and while they pack their apartment the gang daydreams about the past together.  But the catch is the past is all messed up!
Subplot:  Gibby keeps trying to play a practical joke on Spencer by smacking him in the head with a Stop Sign.

So first up the gang thinks back to when they started iCarly.  So Ms. Briggs returns, Jennette wears a young Sam wig, and Freddie's hair is pretty funny!  The memory is messed up when Ms. Briggs from another dimension (Spencer dressed as Ms. Briggs) shows up and the two Briggs duel and explode.

Then the gang remembers Poachy the little chick they saved from death in iHatch Chicks.  BUT the twist is some Japanese man in some weird outfit is in this one..screaming about where to find Poachy.

The entire episode T-Bo is dressed as a genie, lives in a bottle and blinks things into being (a la I Dream of Jeanie!).

Hilarious moments:  FREDDIE has got to be my FAVE in this one.  When he freaks out over not having a party bush.  And then gets one.  Apparently you can't have a party without a party bush.  When he is young Freddie and in the first few scenes...so funny!  He skips around and acts hilarious.

The scene where they are in the Victorious house and Matt Bennett is now Gibby..while Sam sings "Make it Shine" are very cute and funny.

The ending SAVED this episode for me!  Having Spencer be Doc Brown (Back to the Future) and tell Them that their kids are out of control.  Then he says he doesn't know whose kids (for Seddie and Creddie fans)...he says "his and yours, or yours and his...I don't know!!"  All he knows is that they have to do something about their kids!  As a fan of Back to the Future..this was AWESOME.  Then T-bo shows up in a small little flying machine and they all take off to the future.

Oh and no worries about eviction.  Carly gets the owner of the building to "flash back" to when he changed his mind.  A funny scene with Lewbert!

Things I didn't like:  Yes there were moments.  The entire first 10 minutes I was like...WHAT???  I was trying to get into it but felt..maybe I wasn't going to like this one at all.  It picked up, but I felt the acting in the beginning was TOO cheesy.  I know it was supposed to be cheesy but it just didn't work until Nathan started to give it a whirl...then I was in.

By the end I was laughing and open to the weird concept.

So in total I give this a 3/5.

Nathan's USTREAM!

Being an old fart (at 37) I am learning something new every day.  So today I learned how to watch and post on a ustream.

Nathan chatted from 1:30 (PST) til about 2:45.  It was fun watching him and hearing his answers.  I personally had TWO questions answered.

First Question was what he plans to do after iCarly finishes.  He didn't get into much detail.  Just talked about how it's NOT over yet so he's locked into a contract.  He can guest star on stuff during hiatus (which they are currently on)...but can't sign for large things at the moment.  He did mention he wants to go to college but that acting is his number one priority.

Second Question was what are you going to wear to the KCAs??  I know Nathan has a love for the vest so he talked about that for a while but said he's been asked NOT to wear a vest this year.  So he did not commit to revealing his outfit.  But I was happy to be answered twice!

What else did he talk about?  Well he did a lot of shout outs to fans all over the world.  I was really happy he talked about Vancouver for a while.  He filmed Gym Teacher here a while back and enjoyed his stay.  Hopefully he can return because we film a lot up here!

He talked about the different shows he watches on TV:  The walking Dead, Burn Notice...to name a few I heard.  He refused to take off his shirt (good on ya!!).  He also discussed his favourite bible quote which he uses on his signatures.  Oh and in a hilarious moment he referred to his six pack as a pack of Coke in his fridge.  Most likely some fan asked him about his six-pack abs or something.  I like how he avoids the R rated comments since his fans are mostly G rated.

He was very frustrated that his computer was running slow and kept freezing.  And he also mentioned that Jennette was following the ustream.  He didn't make any calls to anyone but spent a lot of time answering questions so I think his fans were happy!  I was, I found it very fun!

I almost forgot.  Nathan said that Star Wars BEATS Star Trek...hells ya it does.  I am a HUGE Star Wars fan so that got me going!

So what's up next?  Well according to my sources iGo One Direction (renamed from iGot Jungle Worms) is going to be shown April 7th.  And the next listed show after that is iOwn a Restaurant with no set date that I can see.

I hope to still see iBalls aired in Canada...which it has NOT!!  And I hope that YTV gets Season 6 as soon as possible.

I will share updates as I get them!

iApril Fools is coming!

Well, Dan announced this week that iApril Fools, episode 1 of season 6, will be airing soon on Nick in the states (Saturday the 24th to be exact).  As usual Canadian fans will have to wait.  But I plan to find the episode as soon as I can and review it for you!  Here is what I know so far:

T-Bo will be dressed as a genie

Cast for iApril Fools

The show will have the characters reliving past episodes.  Dan tweeted shots of Jennette wearing a long wig (early Sam) and the girls in the elevator with a chick behind the glass (from iHatch Chicks).  So we can expect that.

Also Ms. Briggs returns in the flashback parts.

Can't WAIT to watch!

Kids Choice Awards!

For those of you wondering about whether the KCAs will air in Canada, yes they will.  I live in the PST zone so I'm looking at 5pm PSTon Nick Canada.  YTVwill re-air the show April 6th.  So never fear we won't have to find this on the pirate channels.  I wish the cast the best of luck!  The show is up for best children's show.  Miranda is up for best actress in a tv show and Jerry, Jennette AND Nathan are up for best sidekick.  You can go on Nick.com and vote as much as you want.

Other tidbits:

Recently Dan let a few more things slip.  We know a Halloween episode is coming up because he has tweeted pics of the cast in costumes.  Also, we know that Madisen Hill (Nathan's real life gf) will be guest starring in an upcoming episode.  We also know that one episode is called IGot Jungle Worms and has the band One Direction in it.  Now I thought this would be episode one..but it seems April Fools will air first.  Not sure why?  We'll find out soon I hope.

Til then iCarly fans...keep watching :)

The iCarly twitter feed from last night

Wow, so iCarly trends quite frequently on twitter, but it's usually "McCurdians" and such.  Last night trending was "iCarlyFansDeserveBetter".  So I went on this feed to figure out WHAT this was all about.  There were a few things happening.

#1 People who started it, I do believe did it as a joke and had no real issue.  This was discovered after I scrolled down to the beginning of the feed.

#2 I then came across ONE diss about Madisen Hill guest starring and I thought perhaps fans were mad to have Nathan's gf on the show.  Seems this was NOT the case as it was just one diss.  However, I will address this Madisen Hill bashing crap.  It doesn't matter if you bash Madisen, Nathan will not dump her and come and date you.  I know, it hurts...move on.  I think it's super cute that Nathan has a gf who he seems to really like considering they have been dating for quite some time now.  Anyway, lay off Madisen, it's not her fault you are jealous.

#3 Finally I got to the root of this issue.  Apparently fans are upset that Dan S (creator) and Nick (network) keep promoting Victorious THROUGH iCarly.  Yes sometimes this can be annoying.  And fans are also tired of guest stars, after all the cast is awesome on it's own - this I agree with.

At first I refused to watch Victorious because I was not impressed with iCarly being hijacked all the time with ads for the show or blatant Victoria Justice podcasts.  But I did start watching it and it's pretty good.  NOT my fave...that remains iCarly...but not so bad.

So really, until Victorious grows a really strong independent following...iCarly fans will have to put up with the advertising through our beloved show.

Jennette on Craig Ferguson

Calling all Jennette fans!!!  She will be appearing tomorrow (Mar. 13th) on Craig Ferguson.

So being Scottish (like Craig) and a HUGE iCarly stalker/fan...I'm so excited!

Scotland + iCarly = AWESOME SAUCE!

Rumours and such

Today news was released and tweeted by Jerry that he is set to star in a new Nick at Night show about a goofball who has to take care of his uptight nerdy cousin (I think it was).  Sounds like the odd couple.

Anyway, I'll give it a look when it airs.  Anything with Jerry is bound to be funny!

Also rumoured on twitter is that Dan is writing a show to star Jennette.  I am not sure what the premise is or even if that is true.  BUT I will put it up info as soon as I get it.

Which leaves the question..what about Miranda and Nathan?  Personally I hope Nathan gets on a prime time show.  That boy is HOT and I'd watch him on prime time.  Miranda has a future in touring and movies as well so she's not bad off.

All this seems to point to this being the 6th and final season of iCarly...could it be????

Also, even though I hated that puppet in iBloop2, I bought the first season of Victorious to watch.  I'm enjoying it.  I had no idea that Beck (Avan) was from Vancouver!!  Awesome.  The cast has great voices.  At first I didn't like it because I felt that Victoria and Danielle were way overacting.  But I've settled into it and I love Jade, Beck and Tori.  Sometimes I like Robbie.  Off and on I like Cat..depends on how dumb they make her that day.  AND I really don't like the teacher.  I think that is what makes me love iCarly more...Spencer is funny and interesting.  The adults in Victorious..not so much.  I enjoy Trina most of the time.  Especially when she sings horribly!

Maybe I will critique them soon...stay tuned :)

I Still Psycho hits Canada

Finally on Friday YTV is airing a bunch of rarely seen iCarly shows including I go to Japan, I party with Victorious and this seasons iStill Psycho which has NEVER played in Canada til now.

Yay!!!  I've been tracking which shows they don't show each season.   For Season 2, which finished repeating just this week they did not show iFight Shelby Marx (which is playing Friday), iGo to Japan (Friday), iLook Alike, iGo Nuclear and iDate a Bad Boy (Friday).  I'm not sure why they don't show look alike or nuclear during the normal run but the others have play times of over 30 mins so that is why they are not shown in the normal season set.

I am currently tracking Season 3 to find out which ones are missing on YTV.

So excited for the marathon on Friday!!!
