YTV set to air iGoodbye

Okay Canadian fans!   Or those who want a decent quality version of the episode.  iGoodbye is airing on Dec. 1 at 5pm PST on the YTVHD channel.  They are showing iCarly episodes all day up to that point.

Some they are going to show are:  iFight Shelby Marx, iPie, iCarly Saves TV, iTwins, iNevel and a few more.  So you can have an entire SATURDAY of iCarly.

Also, Miranda is in the newest People magazine out on the rack.  She tweeted that today.  And there is a super cute photo of Nathan, Jennette, Miranda and Noah while they watched the finale on Friday night.  I'll see if I can download it but it's all over twitter.

I've watched it twice now and I still can't stop crying!

My new goal is to update the twitter feeds as much as possible and to bring you ONE new review every week starting from iPilot all the way to the iGoodbye.  Although I have reviewed most of season 5 and 6 on here...I will be revisiting those and what I enjoyed.

The cast at Nathan Kress' house for the iGoodbye viewing party!

iGoodbye viewing party at Nathan's

So last night I was following the cast on twitter to see what they were doing to celebrate the last episode.  Turns out they all went to Nathan's!  Noah had a tire blow out on the way but it seems they all made it there.  They watched the show later than the west coast because by 8pm none of Nathan's guests had arrived (as he tweeted) but they must have gotten there by 20 after because they were done watching the show close to 9:30pm.   After that they hung out at Nathan's and seemed to have a great time being together again.

Nathan's gf was in St. Louis and was watching the show there.

Jerry and Dan both tweeted their love for the cast and all 4 tweeted back.  There was a lot of shout outs to the fans from all 6 iCarly people.

What a night.

iGoodbye Canadian Airtime

According to what I can see on YTV promos Dec. 1st they are going to run an entire day of their favourite iCarly episodes.  Then either that day or the next they will show iGoodbye.  I don't have an exact date but look around Dec. 1st.

iGoodbye Review

Where do I start.  Leading up to this episode I got really sick and was emotionally nuts.  So having this episode come at this time was a huge emotional issue for me!

Finally I got to watch it tonight at 3am and I was NOT disappointed.  It was amazing.  I'm going to spoil it all so don't read this if you don't want that!

Synopsis:  Carly wants to go to the father daughter dance with her dad but he has to cancel.  Spencer agrees to take her but then catches a nasty cold from Lewbert.  Sam calls Freddie and Gibby and tells them how sad she is and they show up in tuxes to take her to the dance.  BUT she is too sad to go, until Colonel Shay shows up at the door to take Carly to the dance!

After they return Colonel Shay offers Carly the chance to live with him in Italy because she just can't take him going again.  She agrees (after much thought) and then has to say goodbye to everyone.  She says an emotional goodbye to Spencer in her room (by the way dad now KNOWS he's not a lawyer) and then goes up to say goodbye to Freddie in the studio and they kiss.  My Creddie dreams were realized and my life is now complete :)

Carly and Sam have an emotional goodbye in the elevator and Sam gives her the iCarly remote.  On the plan to Italy Carly has a few flashbacks of the iPilot, so do Sam, Spencer, and Freddie.  And then she watches some clips from iCarly episodes and then closes her laptop.  End of show.

Smaller storylines:  Spencer and Sam fix a bike together.  Sam has to go to a shop owned by Meekilito (played by Dan Schneider) to get a special part.

That scene was awesome!  Sam and Spencer finish the bike and in a great moment, Spencer gives it to Sam.  Tears were flowing.

Freddie and Gibby go to the mall so that Gibby can get a new head.  He gets his head stuck and hilarity ensues, and he also adopts a weasel from a very mean man.

Freddie has a big phone that is hilarious called a MAX PAD and later gets a purse to hold it in...and the best line was "That case is perfect for holding your Max Pad"...after Freddie asks if it's too feminine.  WA HA HA.

Returning Characters:  Mrs. Benson shows up in the mall with Dan Schneider's real wife Lisa and comments on how Freddie's purse looks just like hers.
T-Bo tries to help Carly in the Groovy Smoothie...but only talks about himself
Lewbert sneezes his nasty cold all over everyone and shows up shreaking several times.
Miss Briggs is in the opening sequence where her boobs are extremely pointy for effect!

My thoughts:
This episode wrapped it all up for me.  It ended so many storylines.
Spencer being a lawyer was hilariously covered when he played Baby Spencer and tells his dad...and then his dad starts to hurt him.
They ended iCarly with a Farm Girl sketch.

Freddie finally gets Carly after all those years of loving her (Dan is very good at wrapping up the long term romances at the very very end...Zoey 101).
Sam and Freddie have an awkward moment about their relationship on the phone...which is hilarious.  Freddie ALMOST tells us why he speaks Spanish.
Sam reveals she doesn't really know who her dad is.
How Spencer gets all the money to live on all these years is finally realized as his dad has been paying for his schooling this ENTIRE time by sending him money.  This would explain why Spencer can do all the things he does as an artist.

This episode also had all the emotional stuff I love from iDate a Bad Boy, iWanna live with Spencer...the relationship between Carly and Spencer has always been amazing to me.  When Spencer gives up an important date with a girl he really likes and might actually MARRY...to take Carly to a dance and she doesn't know...priceless.
The love between Freddie and Carly has always been wonderful to watch grow too.  Even though there was a Sam/Freddie arc in there, Freddie and Carly would end up back together because that was how it all started.
When Carly runs to her dad, it's extremely touching.

The whole thing was awesome.  Watch it...again and again..cause I will.

Break out the tissues

The final episode of iCarly will feature Carly seeing her dad after a long seperation.  Now you KNOW the tears will be out for that.  According to Entertainment Weekly Spencer steps in to take Carly to a father/daughter dance for the military families but when he gets sick Freddie and Gibby step up.  Luckily Carly's dad will return in time!  This should make a very tearfilled episode.  I know she also ends up on a plane...so where is Carly going?  What will happen?

iGoodbye Air Date

I may have said that iGoodbye is airing tomorrow night but I am WRONG!  The official last episode of iCarly will be shown on US tv on Nov. 23rd (Friday).  So I have to wait an entire week MORE to see the amazing ending.  The promo shows Carly, Gibby and Freddie dressed in tuxes with their arm out to Carly.  Spencer wears a tux.  Carly's dad shows up for the last webisode and the cowboy and the idiot farmgirl makes an appearance too!

Can't wait...but yet I also can because I feel very sad that this will be the last episode.

iLost my Head in Vegas on YTV

Hopefully today you caught the premiere of iLost my Head in Vegas on YTV (Canadian TV).  I watched it again, of course, and enjoyed it a lot more this time around!

SAD that this Saturday will mark the final episode ever of iCarly.  I better get my CREDDIE moment.  God knows Seddie has gotten their fair share.

iBust a Thief REVIEW

And here it is my 2nd to last review on the last season.  I think I'll start reviewing from the first season just so I don't have to deal with the loss.

Tonight's episode - iBust a Thief!

Synopsis:  Sam's lap top goes missing and the gang tries to track it using the serial number.  They end up watching an old lady for hours trying to figure out where she is.  Finally they do and realize the laptop is NOT Sam's because Sam's 4s look like 9s.  Then she finds it later in the freezer in a pizza box.

Meanwhile...Spencer finds his stash of old prize tickets when Sam hits him with his 5th grade lunch box.  He always dreamed of winning the magic dolphin which was 1000 tickets.  When he goes to return the tickets the guy says they are 15 years old and invalid.  Spencer wants to win the dolphin but he can't without a kid.  Enter Guppy.  Spencer takes Guppy with him and wins his 1000 tickets at the stroke of 10pm and gets his dolphin!

Gibby has to babysit Guppy and isn't thrilled by it.  But later Guppy is taken by Spencer for his dolphin mission.

Highlights:
My favourite moment of this episode was when Spencer wins the dolphin and uses it to knock out Todd the worker at the kids place.  I laughed so hard!!!  That was genius.
In fact my favourite plot was Spencer.  That entire part was hilarious.

I enjoyed that the Sam/Freddie banter returned where she just harasses him for being nerdy.  And when Sam pulled him in and threatened him not to tell her Grandma she isn't Jewish.

Sam's threat almost looks like a kiss is about to occur!

Lowlights:
Guppy is now too old to pull off the cute routine.

Guppy reads Nifty Shades of Beige while Spencer wins prize points

Gibby was once again more annoying than before...he has random storylines that I just don't like.

There was not enough hilarious Carly in this for me.

I also didn't like how LONG the opening part with the webshow.  I didn't like the cartoon and I would much rather have had more of a plot with the characters then wasted time with the apple diaper, cartoon and homeless men singing.  Too much waste.

I haven't enjoyed Freddie's commentary on where they get stuff from either.  He does it too much and it's annoying.  I think I thought it was funny the first time and now I just find it painful.

So overall Spencer SAVED this one for me.  He was hilarious and his storyline was funny.  I felt they just had Ethan Munck on just to give him a part in the last season, otherwise Spencer could have used any kid.

Score 3/5 for SPENCER!!!

iBust a Thief is coming!

Well Saturday marks the last regular episode of iCarly entitled iBust a Thief.  The next one will be an hour long special called iGoodbye.

I am PRAYING I get some Creddie action out of this cause if you think about it...Seddie got a 4 episode arc...Creddie got one episode.  ONE!  I need at least 3 more.

Ethan Munck is returning as Guppy.  Not sure if this means too much Gibby in the episode, but we'll see.  The episodes have been really breaking the characters up lately into Sam/Carly, Freddie/Gibby pairings.  I want Freddie and Carly together and a little less Sam and Gibby.  When Carly is on screen it's usually hilarious.  That girl cracks me UP!

I hope this also ends the celebrity run on the show for Season 6 which saw so many celebs pass through with not much plot.  One Directions was the BEST use of a guest star.  But we've also seen Jimmy Fallon, Tina Few, Emma Stone and the Pawn guys.  As my sister commented..enough with the gratuitous celebs.  I want the original cast strong.

YTV should be showing iLost my head in Vegas on Monday at 3pm PST 6pm EST as they just played iRescue Carly.

Also they played iStart a Fan War not long ago.  I was happy to see this rarely shown episode on.  I love Jack Black's cameo.  That was a good use of a celeb.  Spencer's epic "stume" storyline is one of the funniest Spencer stories I've seen.  Although my fave Spencer moments of all time are in iStage an Intervention where he is addicted to Pack Rat and iDate a Bad Boy part 1 where he goes NUTS on Carly for kissing Griffin.  LOVE IT.

Monday's iCarly episode on YTV

So judging by YTVs Monday rotation of iCarly episodes this Monday at 3pm they should be showing iRescue Carly.  For my review, check my post listings.  This was not one of my faves but it was better than iFind Spencer Friends.

iLost my Head in Vegas REVIEW

Well finally I enjoyed an episode!!!  iLost my Head in Vegas was a really funny one.

Synopsis:  Sam's mom gets locked up on Vegas and needs to be bailed out with 2500 bucks.  Spencer agrees to drive them all to Vegas in the RV (which was stolen by Bigfoot previously) if they bring stuff to Pawn.  The guys from the Pawn show are in this one.  Sam and Carly agree to sell a bottle of Wahoo punch signed by the First Lady (who appeared in a previous episode) for 2500 bucks.  On the way to the jail they forget Gibby and have to go back to get him.  Meanwhile Gibby gets robbed of the money he is keeping for them when a dude tricks him into listening to a fake moon rock.  The gang finds out the money is gone but then a little girl wants to buy Gibby's head (from iStill Psycho)  for 10,000 dollars.  Sam vulcan pinches Gibby and they sell the head.

Highlights:

Carly trying to be cool by saying uncool things
Freddie saying "oooh giiiiirl"...was my favourite line!
Spencer driving like a man while putting on lip gloss or chap stick.
Carly and Freddie play Draw something with each other on their pear pads...and Carly's drawing is bad again...which is from a previous episode.
Gibby loses his pants AGAIN.
Gibby appears shirtless again which is the second time this season.  He has not been shirtless since season 3.
Gibby eating too much sugar was hilarious.
The Pawn guys were funny, I loved the guy who is slightly off.  Hilarious.

I really liked this one!  I give it a 4/5.

iLost my Head in Vegas

This Saturday is the 2nd to LAST episode of iCarly.  The episode is called iLost my head in Vegas and will guest start the Pawn Shop guys from the show that Dan loves.  The story is supposed to revolve around Sam's mom going to jail and the gang heading out to Vegas to bail her out.

I'm hoping this episode is better than the other 2 I watched recently.

Also Jennette announced that filming in Vancouver on Swindle has wrapped.  Sad to see the cast go!  I didn't get to see them but having them around Vancouver was exciting.

I'll write my review of the next episode as soon as I can!
