Nathan Kress WILL BE on Sam and CAT!!!

It's happening.  OMG OMG.

Three returning characters from iCarly and Victorious will appear on an hour long Sam and Cat special.  Since I have not been following Sam and Cat (due to just not liking it that much)...I didn't know until TODAY.

Wendell and Vinnie

As an iCarly fan I took a look at both Wendell and Vinnie (Jerry Trainor's new show) and Sam and Cat (Jennette's new show).

I wasn't able to get them in Canada at first, but recently YTV has started playing them!

I have to admit I love Wendell and Vinnie!!  I enjoy Jerry getting to play a more adult oriented role.  They use more adult language in the show and it is always funny.  Nicole Sullivan is amazing as the aunt.  She cracks me up!

Sam and Cat gives me a mixed reaction.  I enjoyed most of the episodes but I didn't like when they introduce the large slow man.  I stopped watching at that point.  I just can't buy Sam with Cat.  I think Sam would really lose it at some point with Cat.

So my overall verdict - I'll keep watching Wendell and Vinnie but I give Sam and Cat a pass.

Nathan and Madisen HIT Sacramento

One totally lucky twitter fan got a great visit today from Nathan and Madisen.  The two were on their way to a wedding reception and were passing Sacramento where mega fan @DanniWarp lives!  She got the visit of a lifetime.  They had breakfast together and some great times.  The photos are to DIE FOR!

Nathan and Madisen are truly wonderful people to give their fans such attention.  I know Danni was totally thrilled from all her amazing tweets today!  So check he site out and follow her for more fun with Kress!

Nathan to appear on Sam and Cat ????

Well iCarly fans.  Since my epic hug from Nathan Kress I have not blogged a lot BUT the twitterverse got a little crazy yesterday.

Several things have gone down.  1.  Dan tweeted that a special guest was watching Sam and Cat film/rehearse and it was NATHAN.
2.  Nathan then tweeted a photo yesterday of him in FREDDIE hair on the set of a mystery show.

Could Seddie be coming to a tv screen near you?

Well lots of people are hoping so.  He did also admit that his hair WAS styled like Freddie's.  So...it would seem that Freddie will appear on Sam and Cat.  But what will his role be?  Will he continue to show up or only once in a while?  I'd watch it for SURE if Freddie came on.  However, I am a CREDDIE fan...so I don't need Sam and Freddie to be in love at all.

Also it's been hard lately watching Nathan tweet about his pro-gun stance.  He doesn't much care for Piers Morgan or the anti-gun movement.  I however, hate guns and the American culture of violence.  So my love for the man has taken a hit lately.  I do still wish him well in his acting and enjoy watching him but politically we can't be further apart.

There has been a LOT of chatter about Jennette online.  Claiming that she's been letting her reputation go a little in the naughty department.  There is mention of a boyfriend online, I believe he is a crew member on Sam and Cat.  There was also some rumour that Jennette refused to work on the set until a former iCarly crew member who now works on Sam and Cat was fired.  Whether that is true or now..who knows.

Very quiet from Miranda, Jerry and Noah.  Not sure what is going on there.  Also not hearing anything about the supposed "Gibby" spin-off.  All energy is on Sam and Cat.
However, Jerry's new show Wendall and Vinnie is fabulously funny!  If you get a chance, check it out!

On the Madisen/Nathan front.  Not much going on.  The odd photo of them together but they haven't said much lately.  There was a crazy cheese cake conversation that basically stated that Nathan had gone mental for a cheesecake and Madisen said, not possible because he hates them.  Well he said she didn't see him eat the thing with his WHOLE face.  I replied to him and got a reply back, which is my 2nd Nathan tweet directed at me!  I do feel the love.

Now if only I could get Nathan to believe that having a gun in your home will not increase your chances of protecting your family should a break in occur.  Faulty logic my sweet Nathan.

I MET Nathan Kress

So last week I reported that Nathan was out in my hood filming a guest starring role on Mr. Young, a YTV show here in Canada.

WELL I managed to get tickets to the live studio audience and took with me my best friend Linda.  She was my camera lady as I got some pretty sweet pics of the set and Nathan working on it.

Nathan played a janitor named Pete, and basically the storyline was that Dang, the actual janitor had left to be in Vietnam.  Pete travels with the crew to go and make Dang come back.  It was a funny episode.
Most scenes were pre-taped as the show was 1 hour long but I did get to see Nathan film one scene OVER AND OVER.  Little did I know that they shoot each scene like 10 times.  The taping began and 5pm and was still going at 10 when I had to leave because I had a flight in the wee hours of the morning.

Anyway.  After watching Nathan film the scenes he came out and talked to the audience and answered questions in between silence when filming was being done.  I headed down the stairs to see if I could get a pic with him.  I almost wasn't able to but I refused to budge when the guys said it was time to let Nathan go!  I stood in the exit way and waited.  Luckily Nathan is a WONDERFUL guy.  He came over and I did get my pic taken with him.  He was the ONLY reason I was at that taping I was not going to leave without saying hi to him.  He hugged me too..which was AWESOME!

I can say that Nathan Kress is one nice guy and very patient with his fans.  Afterwards he TWEETED me to say he was glad to finally meet me.  And I lost my mind.  Yes...people I am in heaven.

Just checked my twitter feed after a long absence and Nathan Kress is in my hometown filming Mr. Young!!!  He is working on 2 episodes.  So he is here in my very presence and I have no idea where.

I shall find him.  Yes, I shall.

iSpeed Date Review

Due to a writer's strike Season 2 and 3 were filmed back to back and all have production codes in the 200s.

Synopsis:  
Carly has to ask a guy to the dance but keeps failing.  SO Sam announces on iCarly that if anyone wants to go to the dance with Carly to come to the Groovy Smoothie, but too many guys show up!  The gang decides that Speed Dating will work with them all taking a portion of guys.  Finally a date is found for Carly and she goes to the dance BUT has a horrible time because the guy never lets her finish a sentence.  At the same time Freddie has to go with Magic Malika and he has a bad time.  In the end they both share a dance at the Groovy Smoothie.
Meanwhile Sam is forced to ask Gibby who doesn't want to go because he already has a hot girlfriend!

Sam calls herself "Mama".
Jamie and Ariana who ask Freddie out are real life names of Jamie Lynn Spears from Zoey 101 and Ariana Grande from Victorious, both Dan Schneider shows.

The song at the end that Freddie and Carly dance to was most likely created by the song writer for the show, who also created the songs you hear on other episodes.  The song ends with the lyrics "Cause you were meant for me" which is exactly the theme of Freddie and Carly's relationships.
In the end credits we see Ethan Munck for the first time - Noah Munck's real life little brother.  He appears in iPsycho in season 3, iStart a Fan War in season 4 and iBust a Thief in season 6.

Review: I love this episode due to the HIGH level of Creddie.  I love the Englishman who was a terrible father!  "They are colourful and pointy you ungrateful nuggets!".  I love when Spencer knocks Freddie out with his windmills.  Spencer's cute attempt to talk to Carly about "sex" is so funny!  When Carly and Freddie dance - AWESOME.

Total Score: 5/5 - one of my faves!  CREDDIE!
