iHeart Art Review

iHeart Art Episode #13 on YTV
Originally Aired:  February 2,  2008 (14th), Filmed 9th (109)

Synopsis:  To boost Spencer's self-esteem before a gallery showing, the iCarlys find his idol Harry Joiner and ask him to come and see Spencer's art.  Unfortunately Joiner says he doesn't like Spencer's art and Spencer becomes depressed.  He gets a new job as a dental assistant.  This means that Mrs. Benson has to look after Carly at night, which she is NOT pleased with.  The iCarlys go to find Joiner and tell him to help Spencer out, and he admits he really DID like the art and was jealous of Spencer.  In the end the two of them create a giant set of teeth for the dentist.
Meanwhile Freddie bets Sam that she can't insult him for an entire week and craziness ensues.

Fun Facts:
First mention of Galaxy Wars and Nug Nug.  Galaxy Wars is a take off on the movie Star Wars and I believe Nug Nug is a reference to the song sung by the Ewoks at the end of Return of the Jedi.  I refer to the song as the Nub Nub song...but that is close! The character Nug Nug is small and Freddie wears his outfit which is later on the real Nug nug in a future episode.
Freddie has to sign a contract promising that he shampoos twice.
Freddie asks Sam if she wants to kiss him which she does in iKiss.
Miss Briggs is mentioned as being called Bubble Butt by Sam.
Mrs. Benson appears multiple times in this episode.
To be a dental assistant you have to take a pretty intense course, but Spencer just becomes one with no training.
Mrs. Benson doesn't let kids use forks because they will stab their tongues.
Sam spends all her money on beef jerky.
The medical complex is named after Dan Schneider.

Spencer Side Count:  Makes Yipee-Yi Yo Yo, Elephant Cycle and Merry Sniffmas.  iCarly showing of Spencer's work:  Splatter Man, Yippee-Yi Yo yo, Merry Sniffmas, Video Squirrel, Bottlebot.  Creates the giant set of teeth.  Spencers type of art is known as "pop art".

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:  This episode is not my favourite.  I don't like depressed Spencer, or dentist Spencer.  The dentist scene grosses me out.  I also don't like the flute beatboxing guy who randomly appears.  I like when Spencer is crazy and nuts!  The redeeming feature of this show is the bet between Freddie and Sam and their insults!

iAm Your Biggest Fan Review

iAm Your Biggest Fan Episode #12 on YTV
Originally Aired:  January 19,  2008 (13th), Filmed 10th (110)

Synopsis:  iCarly super fan Mandy writes to iCarly and gets to come watch an episode.  Unfortunately, she doesn't leave and even transfers to Ridgeway.  Meanwhile Spencer auditions for a band and gets them booked on Seattle Beat.  They proceed to steal his drums and dump him from the band.  When they watch the band on Seattle Beat they find out that Mandy has become obsessed with the band instead of iCarly solving their problem!

Fun Facts:
Mention of Spencer making Carly a lava lamp for her birthday that burst into flames.  First mention of Spencer lighting stuff on fire.
Spencer has an account at the junkyard.
New segment of iCarly called twister vision.
The issue with the car seats always bugged me, because this was played WAY after it was filmed, you see the car seats in 4-5 episodes before they are made.  Major continuity issue.
Mandy appears for the first time.  She shows up in one more episode.  Played by Aria Wallace.
The smoothie place is referred to as the Groovy Smoothie, which it wasn't before.
Mandy is from Tacoma which isn't too far from Seattle.
First mention of the cartoon Girly Cow which has at least 4 seasons.
Mandy admits she got back in the apartment through a window.  Which is interesting considering they live on the 8th floor with access to the 9th and 10th.  That's high up to climb.
When Mandy transfers to Ridgeway, we don't see her again after this episode.  We can assume she either stayed at Ridgeway but left them alone or went back to Tacoma.
The band that Spencer auditions for is also seen in an episode of Victorious.
Fladoodles are mentioned again, Carly says she made them up but Mandy finds them in a Nordic store.
The song that band sings "Baby will you take me back" is heard and sung in several iCarly episodes, in particular Spencer sings it while rollerblading in iBattle Chip, and sings it in the RV shower in iLost my head in Vegas.
Seattle Beat also makes a comeback by booking the band.
Mandy has an obsession with duck masks and quacking which she does in both episodes she appears in.
Messin with Lewbert skit #2 is announced but you don't see it because Mandy quacks.
The Spit Take is shown.
I don't think the name of the band is every said.
Dan Schneider can be heard saying "Somebody call the cops".
Most songs used in iCarly are written specifically for the episodes by the music writers employed.  For instance, I have tried to get the song from iGet Pranky but you can't buy it because it was written for the show.

Spencer Side Count:  Makes the seats for the car in the iCarly studio.  AND the lights light on FIRE!  First fire recorded on iCarly.  Gets a drum set at the junkyard so he can audition for a band.  The cymbal on the drum set lights on fire (2 fires).

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:  One of my faves!  I like episode where the two plot lines wind up together.  Wrapping up Mandy with the band was perfect.  Aria Wallace is amazing as Mandy, she is a wonderful little actress! Funnily she is very pretty and looks nothing like the geek that Mandy is.  This episode has great bonding between all three leads with no Sam and Freddie arguing because they are all in the same position of dealing with Mandy!  Besides the seat for the car issue that I have, this is a great episode.  And that song sticks in your head.

Total Score: 5/5

iPromise Not to Tell Review

iPromise Not to Tell Episode #11 on YTV
Originally Aired:  January 12, 2008 (12th), Filmed 18th (118)

Synopsis:  Carly works really hard on a history paper and expects to get an A but then her teacher gives her a B because she printed it on 3 hole punched paper.  Sam finds out the passwords and changes Carly's, Freddie's and her grades.  She makes them promise not to tell.  Freddie and Carly hack into the school network to change their grades back but get caught.  Still Sam doesn't let them off the hook.  Carly starts to lose it mentally and cracks to Spencer.  She then goes to tell the truth but Freddie already confessed.  She confesses and then Sam confesses.  Sam receives detention but at the end changes her detention in the school computer.

Fun Facts:
Only mention of Mr. Devlen the hard teacher.
Apparently he was a lunch room monitor when Spencer went to school
Sam has regular Tuesday appointments with Principal Franklin.
The actor who plays Principal Franklin also played the vulcan on Star Trek Voyager.  He is a reoccuring character but this is the first time we see him.
His first name is Ted.
Miss Briggs is mentioned by not seen.
Gibby is mentioned as being hit with a piece of pizza by Sam.
Principal Franklins username and password are:  Big Teddy and corncake21.
The hand jive that Jennette McCurdy made up to pass time while filming was added into this episode as a way of ankle swearing.
Bacon flavoured gum is mentioned, in the first time that Sam shows her love for bacon.
Carly pins Freddie to the floor in the same fashion that he pins her to the floor in iThink they Kissed in season 3.
ONLY time we see the computer lab in Ridgeway and see the computer teacher Mr. Wimbly.
When Carly faints in class she should have been sent to the medical room because teachers don't ignore large issues like fainting (as I am a teacher).
Since it was Principal Franklins birthday on the day this was shown then his birthday is January 12.
Principal Franklin admits that Carly and Freddie have been to Ridgeway for 3 years.  They are currently in grade 8, so they started in grade 6.  They also go there til the end of the series when they are at least in grade 12...so that is one large high school/middle school.
The microwave given to Principal Franklin is seen again when it lights on fire in iGot Detention.
Wahoo Punch is mentioned for the first time.
The part where Carly pulls out her hair in school is on the blooper reel.
Earlier episodes claim that Sam never lies, but in this one she admits that soon you will lie and feel nothing at all.

Spencer Side Count:  Makes the lamp light up with the Japanese word for ON.  Builds giant A sculpture over and over.

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:  One of my fave episodes of season 1!  This one has a great storyline with Spencer being a good big brother and giving good advice.  I love Principal Franklin and his relationship with Sam.  This has a lot of Freddie and Carly working together and very little of the web show.  Carly's freak outs are always awesome.

Total Score: 5/5

iRue the Day Review

iRue the Day Episode #10 on YTV
Originally Aired:  December 1, 2007 (11th), Filmed 15th (115)

Synopsis:  After saving a member of the Plain White Tees, Spencer gets them to agree to play on iCarly.  But iCarly is being hacked by a vengeful Nevel.  The iCarlys break into Nevels house to hack Nevel but they fail when Nevel back hacks them.  They fear they won't get control of their site back in time but then a friend of Colonel Shay's helps Carly by having the military break into Nevels and get him to relent.  The Plain White Tees play on iCarly!

Fun Facts:
Gibby appears in the opening of this episode as a potential guest on iCarly.
Nevel returns!
A friend of Colonel Shay appears on the show and is clearly wearing an Air Force pin on his suit, which at this point means Colonel Shay is NOT in the navy, but the air force.
We see Nevel's lair for the first time.
We find out the Freddie way is a toasted bagel with grape jelly.
Nevel's house is NOT well secured at all.  The window is unlocked, the back door was open and Freddie somehow got on the ceiling and hooked up ropes.
Nevel's nerd cave has a camera watching the front door of Carly's apartment building, a running montage of iCarly screen caps, a pic of Nevel, a pic of his brain, a video surveillance of his home, the iCarly homepage and a video of a bunny moving its nose.
Is there an internet security Act of 1983?  It's mentioned here but living in 1983 I don't recall any internet existing.
Nevel is forced to call himself a Weinie, and in iMeet the First Lady Spencer calls Sam and Freddie weinies.

Spencer Side Count:  Saves a member of the Plain White Tees.

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:  Any episode with Nevel is bound to be AWESOME!  I love his vocabulary and his rueing.  Love how Freddie ends up hanging from the ceiling like a giant spider.  The only thing I don't like about the episode is how off key the Plain White Tees are at the end of the show.  I can't stand listening to them so I speed through!   Otherwise this one is GREAT!

Total Score: 4/5

iWant a World Record Review

iWant a World Record  Episode #9 on YTV
Originally Aired:  November 17, 2007 (10th), Filmed 7th (107)

Synopsis:  The iCarlys try to break the record for longest continuous webcast.  Meanwhile Spencer builds a sculpture with over a hundred moving parts.   While Spencer is showing his sculpture on the webcast he shorts out the power and they lose their world record.  Later the record lady returns and gives Spencer a world record for a sculpture with the most moving parts.  He decides to let the iCarlys help him finish it so they can be in the picture for the record book.

Fun Facts:
The Guiness Book of world records is called the Jonas book of world records, after the Jonas brothers.
Random Dancing occurs, we haven't seen it in a few episodes.
Carly casts her fishing line out the studio window and says it goes to the street below.  In a future episode it looks onto an alley that is not well lit (iWant my Website Back).
The tv that swings out during the show is a large red computer screen where in later episodes it's a flat screen tv.
The colourful light at the back of the studio looks exactly like the box that Charles Dingo's head was in.
Fladoodle is mentioned by the gas guy and is also mentioned when Mandy has to go looking for Fladoodles.
Sam says she feels like a princess during the makeover segment and also says that when she wants the large locker in a later episode.
Grandpa Shay returns for the webcast!  He will appear one more time when he visits Spencer to see his sculpture in the art museum.
Spencer has skee ball tickets in this one, and he wants a giant harmonica with them.  In a later episode he finds more of his tickets and tries to get the huge dolphin.

Spencer Side Count:  Builds the sculpture with the most moving parts.  Hits on the world record lady.

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:  I'm not a fan of episodes that have a lot to do with their webcast.  Mostly cause I don't like the parts with videos of random kids.  This one isn't so bad because of the makeovers, the buckets of water, and some other funny bits.  I also like when Spencer flirts with the record lady and is jealous of the non-blinking dude.

Total Score: 3/5

iWill Date Freddie Review

iWill Date Freddie  Episode #8 on YTV
Originally Aired:  November 10, 2007 (9th), Filmed 8th (108)

Synopsis:  An iCarly fan named Valerie asks Freddie out on a date (sort of, Sam sets it up), and they have a date at Carly's house.  Freddie starts dating her and she cons him in to leaving iCarly and working on her web show.  Jeremy does the audio/video for iCarly but it just doesn't work out.  Val tries to get Sam to do her show to and admits she is using Freddie.  Carly and Sam tell him but he doesn't believe it.  Eventually Freddie figures it out and comes back to iCarly but not before asking Sam to apologize for not thinking he's a vital part of iCarly.

Fun Facts:
Introduction of the blab cam where they talk to people who watch their show.
We meet Freddie's first girlfriend, Valerie who I believe is in the grade above them.
Freddie admits in iKiss that any kisses with Valerie did not count because he only kissed her once in the middle of school and it wasn't a real kiss.
Mrs. Benson returns with her first rhyme - you won't get respect if your backs not erect.
Mrs. Benson shows she wants Carly to date Freddie in this episode whereas she hates Carly in all other episodes and calls her dummy, dumbo, etc.  And blames Carly for making Freddie all out of wack in iMove Out.
Freddie gets a vest from the Wild Wild Vest.
First mention of Spaghetti Tacos as noodles in a corn shell.
Includes a blooper from iBloop with Valerie.
The return of the hated Jeremy/Germy.
In Sam's locker is a picture of Drake Bell and Johnny Depp.
First mention of the word "skunk bag"
According to Carly Sam doesn't lie, but in a later episode she is the best liar and has to teach Spencer how to lie.
Germy puts nose plugs in which is similar to Carly and Sam when they put blueberries in their noses in a later episode.
Sam and Freddie hug but it ends in a wedgy.
First mention of SOCKO!  Who sells Spencer all the cool socks.

Spencer Side Count:  Makes dinner for Freddie's date, including Spaghetti Tacos.  Appears later on the phone with a Girl Sprout about cookies.

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:  This episode is cute with Freddie getting his first date!  I love how crazy Mrs. Benson is.  I do love that this episode focusses on Freddie as he is such a cutie pie!  Also all Freddie's love faces are hilarious especially the one he does when Spencer stares at him.  I do dislike ALL the parts with "Germy" because he is such a gross character.  Ew.

Total Score: 4/5

iSpy a Mean Teacher Review

iSpy a Mean Teacher:  Episode #7 on YTV
Originally Aired:  November 3, 2007 (8th), Filmed 6th (106)

Synopsis:  The iCarlys come up with an idea for a new segment on their show, what mean teachers do when they are not teaching.  Carly and Freddie go and spy on Miss Briggs, but while there Freddie gets spooked by a bee and they run in to her house and have to hide.  They end up in a room filled with Randy Jackson stuff.  Sam comes to rescue them but gets caught in her fake act.  Freddie and Carly also get caught when trying to sneak out.  Miss Briggs makes them agree to have her on iCarly to play her own bagpipe song or get expelled.  But they start to lose viewers because of her and so they use Freddie's green screen to play funny shots behind her and keep their viewers.

Fun Facts:
Miss Briggs returns with her bagpipes.
Freddie introduces the Green screen.
Spencer has a girl over for the first time.

Spencer Side Count:  creates the fish sculpture that is supposed to be Sam, dates the juggling girl

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:  This episode is not my fave, but I do like it for the Randy Jackson parts.  I love when Carly says "please be quiet Randy Jackson".  There is a Creddie moment in the closet when Freddie tries to bust a move on Carly.  And Freddie with the cologne is hilarious, it smells tight dawg.
There is not much Spencer in this episode.  I also don't like the end with the bagpipes and the green screen.  I just don't like the webisodes mostly.

iDream of Dance Review

iDream of Dance:  Episode #6 on YTV
Originally Aired:  September 16, 2007 (3rd), Filmed 13th (113)

Synopsis:  After watching Scottish dancing in Miss Briggs class the iCarlys call on their audience to send in "good" videos of dancing.  Then they have to watch 500 videos a night.  While watching the videos they fall asleep and dream of themselves dancing.  Freddie has a dance battle for Carly, Sam appears in a highland dance routine with tap, Carly dances with tuxedoed dudes and then Spencer also has a dream where he does the same dance as Carly.

Fun Facts:
First episode where we see Gibby in the classroom.  This is also a blooper in iBloop.
First time Gibby is shirtless as well.
First time Miss Briggs has Scottish piper music in her class.  She later plays the bagpipes.
We find out Miss Briggs teaches English.
Carly's hair is the opposite to what it was in the last episode.  It was straight as can be last episode and now it's super curly.
We find out that Gibby's locker is the one between Carly and Sam's but in later episodes he is on the opposite wall.
The main dancer in most numbers is from Billy Elliot the musical on Broadway.
We see Spencer's bedroom for the first time.  It is seen again in iChristmas.
Nevel's song is replayed.
This is the first time we get to see Jennette McCurdy's dance skills in tap dancing.  We see them again in iWas a Pageant Girl.

Spencer Side Count:

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:  I dislike this episode ALOT!!!  I hate the entire thing.  It's boring and I find all the dance routines annoying.  Only Jennette (Sam) has dance training so watching the others dance is obviously faked (Freddie).  Although Nathan's little outfit and hair in this is TOO CUTE.  I also hate watching the videos sent in.  I don't like the main dancer with his long hair, he needs to CUT IT.  Even the kids who dance as extras are not very good.  There are only a few dancers who actually can cut it.  The only redeeming thing in this is the Creddie moments where Freddie defends Carly, they have a little cheek kiss, and Carly sleeps on Freddie.  Also I love when Miss Briggs yells "Hello Ridgeway, I AM BRIGGS!"  Oh and one final point - the dress they put Carly in is hideous!  Otherwise this would rate a 0.

Total Score: 1/5 - DISLIKE!  Only one other episode ranks this low - the iCarly awards.  They are my most hated episodes.

iWanna Stay with Spencer Review

iWanna Stay with Spencer:  Episode #5 on YTV
Originally Aired:  September 29, 2007 (5th), Filmed 5th (105)

Synopsis:  On an iCarly webcast Spencer debuts his sculpture Fan of Hammers.  It malfunctions and almost kills Carly.  Their grandfather comes out to visit but then tells Spencer that he is going to take Carly with him because she will be safer.  The iCarlys come up with a plan to make grandpa see Spencer as responsible.  Carly dresses all punk.  But their plan does not go as they would have liked.  Carly is moving to Yakima.  But, just as they are leaving Spencer gives Grandpa a list of Carly's likes and dislikes and all the records he keeps of her medical issues.  This makes Grandpa see him as more responsible and she gets to stay!

Fun Facts:
First time we meet Grandpa and learn he lives in Yakima.  Grandpa Shay appears in at least 2 more episodes.  iWant a World Record and the one where Spencer puts his bottlebot in the art gallery.
We find out that Carly's dad is in the Navy (which later becomes the Air Force)
Grandpa knows Spencer dropped out of law school but apparently never tells their dad.
Spencer carries Carly out on his shoulder during this fire but in later episodes expects her to put them out or runs out before her.
Lewbert appears again, this time upset with people in the lobby.
Mrs. Benson appears again yelling at Spencer for starting the fire.  She also mentions anti-tick lotion for the first time.  We also learn that Freddie doesn't have leg hair, which he clearly has in season 2.
We learn that Carly had asthma as a child, which may be the reason she has to wear that snore mask in two more episodes later.

Spencer Side Count:  Creates Fan of Hammers, falls down stairs, almost kills Carly with a hammer.  First fire set by Spencer, the stirfry.

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:
This is one of my favourite episodes.  I love the relationship between Spencer and Carly, which we see in iDate a Bad Boy and iGoodbye.  I cry when I think of them being separated.  Jerry Trainor is an amazing actor!
I love how Freddie loses it when Carly is leaving.   "Be strong Freddie"
This one also has what I would call a small goof.  When Sam and Freddie are insulting each other in the studio Freddie looks like he's about to laugh instead of being scared.
There is nothing I dislike about this episode.

Total Score: 5/5 - One of my faves!

iNevel Review

iNevel:  Episode #4 on YTV
Originally Aired:  October 6, 2007 (6th), Filmed 4th (104)

Synopsis:  While advertising their webshow the iCarlys are told that if their webshow was popular it would be reviewed on Nevelocity.com.  So they set out to get Nevel to watch their show.  He does and loves it.  Carly goes over to meet him and he acts creepy and loves her, he is also only 11.  Nevel kisses Carly on the cheek and she smushes Tobinod on his face.  Nevel then writes a mean review.  They get back at him by getting Germy to hold on to him.  However, he outsmarts them.  Finally they tell on him to his mom and he fixes the review.

Fun Facts:
First time seeing Jeremy or Germy - my least favourite character.  I really don't like him.
First time meeting Nevel!
When Nevel shows Carly an X-ray of his brain it is exactly the same storyline from Family Ties when the genius played by River Phoenix shows Jennifer the x-ray of his brain.  He also likes her more than she likes him.
First time Wisconsin is mentioned as kind of a dull place, later mentioned in iDo.
First time we see Random Dancing on iCarly.
First time Sam wears a skull outfit, which she is put in multiple times throughout the season.
First time we meet Mrs. Benson and she tells us Freddie is allergic to fruit but he is not.
Sam wears the same pink ugg boots that she wears in an earlier episode.
Nevel rythmes for the first time and says RUE for the first time.
I believe this is the first time we see a computer with a pear on it.
Reed Alexander who plays Nevel runs the website kewlbites.com and tours the country promoting good eating habits for kids.  Nevel appears on several episodes after this one making Carly "rue the day".

Spencer Side Count:  Creates Toasty the Baker out of butter, one of my favourite sculptures.  Turns the toilet water blue.

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:
Dislike the video of the guy dancing covered in peanut butter. Mostly because again, I do not like when other people are on iCarly.
Also dislike Jeremy/Germy, I hated that character.  Mostly he grossed me out so much I just couldn't stand him.
Love Spencer's behaviour at Nevel's...who's a cute Nevel?
Also love Carly's reaction to liking the topinad - "it's really quite good..I can't explain it".
Here's a question...how is it that no one knows what Nevel looks like til now?  After everyone seems to know what he looks like.
I also love the song Nevel plays to put Carly in the mood.
When Spencer freaks out over Toasty melting...love it!
Nevel:  "Your work disgusts me" to Spencer.

Total Score: 5/5 - One of my faves!

iWant More Viewers Review

iWant More Viewers:  Episode #3 on YTV
Originally Aired:  September 8, 2007 (2nd), Filmed 3rd (103)

Synopsis:  Over a spaghetti dinner where Carly sprays Sam and Freddie with water, like cats, the gang comes up with a contest to get more viewers.  The one with the best idea voted on by viewers wins.  The loser has to touch Lewbert's wart.  Carly and Sam make a banner and take it to Seattle Beat, but it is raining and the sign gets washed out.  Meanwhile Spencer and Freddie make a sign that they put up over the interstate.  The sign is so bright it causes a major accident and then it shorts out and spells "Pee on Carl".  Spencer gets arrested and brought home.  Neither team wins but the craziness causes even more viewers to tune in!

Fun Facts:
First mention of Lewbert.  A video is shown of the nasty things the does.  His wart is large and brown like a small bird poop.  In feature episodes it is more skin coloured with a hair.  Messin' With Lewbert is introduced.
First mention of Spencer's funky socks.
Miss Briggs returns and tells Spencer to get out!  We find out her first name is Francine.  Spencer's age of 26 is mentioned again.
First mention of Seattle Beat.  This shows up again when Mandy comes on as their crazed fan.
One of the scenes they film talking about drinking Spaghetti and Meatballs is seen in iBloop.
The cop "Carl" who appears in this episode reappears in the episode iMove Out when the petographers ruin the studio.  The actor also played a cop on 7th Heaven for many seasons.

Spencer Side Count:  Creates the giant sign.  Gets zapped by high voltage wires.

Penny Tee Count:  NONE

Review:
This is a good episode!  Putting Spencer in the main storyline is a good call.  He's hilarious especially when he is showing the sign on the webcast and it says Pee on Carl.  Hilarious.  "Stop beholding the sign!".
Don't like when they do the drinking Spaghetti and Meatballs part.  I have never been a fan of other people appearing on the webcasts.  And ew.
The sign when shown is HUGE over the interstate is not that big when Freddie and Spencer carry it earlier in the show!

Total Score: 4/5

iLike Jake Review

iLike Jake - Episode #2 shown on YTV
Original Airdate:  September 22, 2007 (aired 4th) Filmed 2nd (102)

Synopsis:
After the hottest guy in school breaks up with his girlfriend Carly moves in.  She ends up inviting him to sing on iCarly.  Unfortunately he can't sing at all.  Reluctantly Freddie agrees to distort his voice so it sounds amazing.  This makes Jake's old girlfriend want him back.  No boyfriend for Carly :(

Fun Facts:
First episode where we see Duke the wrestler.  The actor who plays Duke (Doug Brouche) is close friends with Nathan Kress in real life.  They can be seen playing Rock Band/or Guitar Hero together in a video tape put on youtube by Nathan's cousin.
Sam gets her locker beside Carly by making Freddie trade his.
The actress who played the teenage Christina Corinthos-Davis on General Hospital appears and tells Carly that Jake Randall is single.
The actor who plays Jake Randall (Austin Butler) appeared on Zoey 101 as Zoey's boyfriend after Chase leaves PCA.
Freddie continues his love for Carly by showing Jake a photo of Carly and telling him to leave.  Also he does NOT want to help distort Jake's voice.
Spencer shows his protective side for the first time by saying he can pop upstairs at any moment like a NINJA because Carly goes upstairs alone with Jake.
First mention of Cuddlefish when Jake talks about the song played by the remote control.
First episode where a fish is treated badly - When Spencer drinks the fish water and the fish while covered with plaster.
First episode where Carly gets no where with a guy.

Spencer Side Count:  Spencer makes the body splatter paint sculpture.  Spencer falls over the couch for the first time.

Penny Tee Count: NONE

Review:
During this episode Sam and Freddie are not at each other as much as they were in episode 1.  I like this episode because of Freddie!  I think he is hilarious liking Jake's horrible voice and trying to tell him to get lost.  Also like the nose kiss!

One issue I have is that Jake looks WAY too old for Carly and Sam.  They just look too young.  Yet his girlfriends looks about 20!

Total Score:  3/5

iPilot Review

So now that iCarly has come to an end, and YTV has started from iPilot again, I will be reviewing the ENTIRE series for all of you to enjoy.

iPilot - Episode #1
Original Airdate:  Sept. 8, 2007 - 1st episode filmed (101)

Synopsis:  Carly gets detention when Sam draws Miss. Briggs face on an animal.  She takes the fall!  So she and Sam have to watch all the talent show auditions on a Saturday and then give Miss. Briggs the CD.  Freddie helps by video taping.  During the taping Freddie tapes Sam and Carly making fun of Miss. Briggs pointy boobs and ends up putting it on Splash face (accidentally).  The girls try to cover it up but Briggs sees it and tells them she is not putting any of their picks in the talent show.  So Carly comes up with the idea of starting her own webshow with Sam after 27,000 people watched the original video and liked it.  Freddie calls it iCarly and asks to help with the geek stuff and thus is born "iCarly".  Their first webisode focusses on the talent show kids they liked.  They get 37,000 viewers.

Spencer side count:  Spencer makes the bottle bot and the squirrel video camera sculptures.  He also falls from the ceiling in his first stunt.  Nothing is set on fire.

Penny Tee count:  NONE

Fun Facts:  In an episode of the Brady Bunch, Marcia gets in trouble for a portrait of Mrs. Denton written above her drawing of George Washington, which looks like a hippo.  Later it is discovered that her friend Paula did it as a joke, Marcia does get in big trouble for it too.  This echoes Carly's issue in this episode.

Spencer's age is pinned at 26 in this episode, making him 13 years older than Carly.

Carly says she is in grade 8.

Jennette McCurdy got sick after eating too much ham in the takes for this show.  She had refused the spit bucket.

In iGoodbye the cast wears the same hats from the crazy hat party, all except Sam.  Freddie can be seen wearing his too small coon hat and Carly wears her blue cowboy hat again.  No one knows why Sam's original hat is missing but she wears a cheeseburger hat in the final episode.

Also in iGoodbye Miss Briggs returns with her pointy boobs, made extra pointy for effect.

In iApril Fools the school scene where Miss. Briggs tells the girls she isn't going to use the list they gave her is replayed with the girls wearing identical outfits to the ones they wear in iPilot.  Of course the iApril Fools version is twisted to have Spencer show up as the alternate Miss Briggs and sparky the dog  shows up.  Also Freddie does not come up with the name of the show until later in the episode.

Review:

I enjoy this episode because it's super cute!  To see them all so small, is adorable.  Although Freddie is super spazzy and calms down slowly throughout season 1, he is still cute!  Also Freddie and Sam are super hating each other in this episode.  Although that continues throughout the series it does mellow out somewhat.

Spencer doesn't have much of a role in this episode other than to be Carly's brother.

We are introduced to the beat boxing kid, and one of my favourites "I tell you I do not know!!".

I don't enjoy the kids talents.  I've always hated the end credits where I have to watch some random kids show their "talents" and so I mostly speed through the last part of the episode when they show the people who squeeze milk out their eyes, say words backwards and jump on pogo sticks.  I'm not one for that.

Total Score:  3/5

YTV set to air iGoodbye

Okay Canadian fans!   Or those who want a decent quality version of the episode.  iGoodbye is airing on Dec. 1 at 5pm PST on the YTVHD channel.  They are showing iCarly episodes all day up to that point.

Some they are going to show are:  iFight Shelby Marx, iPie, iCarly Saves TV, iTwins, iNevel and a few more.  So you can have an entire SATURDAY of iCarly.

Also, Miranda is in the newest People magazine out on the rack.  She tweeted that today.  And there is a super cute photo of Nathan, Jennette, Miranda and Noah while they watched the finale on Friday night.  I'll see if I can download it but it's all over twitter.

I've watched it twice now and I still can't stop crying!

My new goal is to update the twitter feeds as much as possible and to bring you ONE new review every week starting from iPilot all the way to the iGoodbye.  Although I have reviewed most of season 5 and 6 on here...I will be revisiting those and what I enjoyed.

The cast at Nathan Kress' house for the iGoodbye viewing party!

Saturday 24 November 2012

iGoodbye viewing party at Nathan's

So last night I was following the cast on twitter to see what they were doing to celebrate the last episode.  Turns out they all went to Nathan's!  Noah had a tire blow out on the way but it seems they all made it there.  They watched the show later than the west coast because by 8pm none of Nathan's guests had arrived (as he tweeted) but they must have gotten there by 20 after because they were done watching the show close to 9:30pm.   After that they hung out at Nathan's and seemed to have a great time being together again.

Nathan's gf was in St. Louis and was watching the show there.

Jerry and Dan both tweeted their love for the cast and all 4 tweeted back.  There was a lot of shout outs to the fans from all 6 iCarly people.

What a night.

iGoodbye Canadian Airtime

According to what I can see on YTV promos Dec. 1st they are going to run an entire day of their favourite iCarly episodes.  Then either that day or the next they will show iGoodbye.  I don't have an exact date but look around Dec. 1st.

iGoodbye Review

Where do I start.  Leading up to this episode I got really sick and was emotionally nuts.  So having this episode come at this time was a huge emotional issue for me!

Finally I got to watch it tonight at 3am and I was NOT disappointed.  It was amazing.  I'm going to spoil it all so don't read this if you don't want that!

Synopsis:  Carly wants to go to the father daughter dance with her dad but he has to cancel.  Spencer agrees to take her but then catches a nasty cold from Lewbert.  Sam calls Freddie and Gibby and tells them how sad she is and they show up in tuxes to take her to the dance.  BUT she is too sad to go, until Colonel Shay shows up at the door to take Carly to the dance!

After they return Colonel Shay offers Carly the chance to live with him in Italy because she just can't take him going again.  She agrees (after much thought) and then has to say goodbye to everyone.  She says an emotional goodbye to Spencer in her room (by the way dad now KNOWS he's not a lawyer) and then goes up to say goodbye to Freddie in the studio and they kiss.  My Creddie dreams were realized and my life is now complete :)

Carly and Sam have an emotional goodbye in the elevator and Sam gives her the iCarly remote.  On the plan to Italy Carly has a few flashbacks of the iPilot, so do Sam, Spencer, and Freddie.  And then she watches some clips from iCarly episodes and then closes her laptop.  End of show.

Smaller storylines:  Spencer and Sam fix a bike together.  Sam has to go to a shop owned by Meekilito (played by Dan Schneider) to get a special part.

That scene was awesome!  Sam and Spencer finish the bike and in a great moment, Spencer gives it to Sam.  Tears were flowing.

Freddie and Gibby go to the mall so that Gibby can get a new head.  He gets his head stuck and hilarity ensues, and he also adopts a weasel from a very mean man.

Freddie has a big phone that is hilarious called a MAX PAD and later gets a purse to hold it in...and the best line was "That case is perfect for holding your Max Pad"...after Freddie asks if it's too feminine.  WA HA HA.

Returning Characters:  Mrs. Benson shows up in the mall with Dan Schneider's real wife Lisa and comments on how Freddie's purse looks just like hers.
T-Bo tries to help Carly in the Groovy Smoothie...but only talks about himself
Lewbert sneezes his nasty cold all over everyone and shows up shreaking several times.
Miss Briggs is in the opening sequence where her boobs are extremely pointy for effect!

My thoughts:
This episode wrapped it all up for me.  It ended so many storylines.
Spencer being a lawyer was hilariously covered when he played Baby Spencer and tells his dad...and then his dad starts to hurt him.
They ended iCarly with a Farm Girl sketch.

Freddie finally gets Carly after all those years of loving her (Dan is very good at wrapping up the long term romances at the very very end...Zoey 101).
Sam and Freddie have an awkward moment about their relationship on the phone...which is hilarious.  Freddie ALMOST tells us why he speaks Spanish.
Sam reveals she doesn't really know who her dad is.
How Spencer gets all the money to live on all these years is finally realized as his dad has been paying for his schooling this ENTIRE time by sending him money.  This would explain why Spencer can do all the things he does as an artist.

This episode also had all the emotional stuff I love from iDate a Bad Boy, iWanna live with Spencer...the relationship between Carly and Spencer has always been amazing to me.  When Spencer gives up an important date with a girl he really likes and might actually MARRY...to take Carly to a dance and she doesn't know...priceless.
The love between Freddie and Carly has always been wonderful to watch grow too.  Even though there was a Sam/Freddie arc in there, Freddie and Carly would end up back together because that was how it all started.
When Carly runs to her dad, it's extremely touching.

The whole thing was awesome.  Watch it...again and again..cause I will.

Break out the tissues

The final episode of iCarly will feature Carly seeing her dad after a long seperation.  Now you KNOW the tears will be out for that.  According to Entertainment Weekly Spencer steps in to take Carly to a father/daughter dance for the military families but when he gets sick Freddie and Gibby step up.  Luckily Carly's dad will return in time!  This should make a very tearfilled episode.  I know she also ends up on a plane...so where is Carly going?  What will happen?

Check out the article

iGoodbye Air Date

I may have said that iGoodbye is airing tomorrow night but I am WRONG!  The official last episode of iCarly will be shown on US tv on Nov. 23rd (Friday).  So I have to wait an entire week MORE to see the amazing ending.  The promo shows Carly, Gibby and Freddie dressed in tuxes with their arm out to Carly.  Spencer wears a tux.  Carly's dad shows up for the last webisode and the cowboy and the idiot farmgirl makes an appearance too!

Can't wait...but yet I also can because I feel very sad that this will be the last episode.

iLost my Head in Vegas on YTV

Hopefully today you caught the premiere of iLost my Head in Vegas on YTV (Canadian TV).  I watched it again, of course, and enjoyed it a lot more this time around!

SAD that this Saturday will mark the final episode ever of iCarly.  I better get my CREDDIE moment.  God knows Seddie has gotten their fair share.

iBust a Thief REVIEW

And here it is my 2nd to last review on the last season.  I think I'll start reviewing from the first season just so I don't have to deal with the loss.

Tonight's episode - iBust a Thief!

Synopsis:  Sam's lap top goes missing and the gang tries to track it using the serial number.  They end up watching an old lady for hours trying to figure out where she is.  Finally they do and realize the laptop is NOT Sam's because Sam's 4s look like 9s.  Then she finds it later in the freezer in a pizza box.

Meanwhile...Spencer finds his stash of old prize tickets when Sam hits him with his 5th grade lunch box.  He always dreamed of winning the magic dolphin which was 1000 tickets.  When he goes to return the tickets the guy says they are 15 years old and invalid.  Spencer wants to win the dolphin but he can't without a kid.  Enter Guppy.  Spencer takes Guppy with him and wins his 1000 tickets at the stroke of 10pm and gets his dolphin!

Gibby has to babysit Guppy and isn't thrilled by it.  But later Guppy is taken by Spencer for his dolphin mission.

Highlights:
My favourite moment of this episode was when Spencer wins the dolphin and uses it to knock out Todd the worker at the kids place.  I laughed so hard!!!  That was genius.
In fact my favourite plot was Spencer.  That entire part was hilarious.

I enjoyed that the Sam/Freddie banter returned where she just harasses him for being nerdy.  And when Sam pulled him in and threatened him not to tell her Grandma she isn't Jewish.

Sam's threat almost looks like a kiss is about to occur!

Lowlights:
Guppy is now too old to pull off the cute routine.

Guppy reads Nifty Shades of Beige while Spencer wins prize points

Gibby was once again more annoying than before...he has random storylines that I just don't like.

There was not enough hilarious Carly in this for me.

I also didn't like how LONG the opening part with the webshow.  I didn't like the cartoon and I would much rather have had more of a plot with the characters then wasted time with the apple diaper, cartoon and homeless men singing.  Too much waste.

I haven't enjoyed Freddie's commentary on where they get stuff from either.  He does it too much and it's annoying.  I think I thought it was funny the first time and now I just find it painful.

So overall Spencer SAVED this one for me.  He was hilarious and his storyline was funny.  I felt they just had Ethan Munck on just to give him a part in the last season, otherwise Spencer could have used any kid.

Score 3/5 for SPENCER!!!

Thursday 8 November 2012

iBust a Thief is coming!

Well Saturday marks the last regular episode of iCarly entitled iBust a Thief.  The next one will be an hour long special called iGoodbye.

I am PRAYING I get some Creddie action out of this cause if you think about it...Seddie got a 4 episode arc...Creddie got one episode.  ONE!  I need at least 3 more.

Ethan Munck is returning as Guppy.  Not sure if this means too much Gibby in the episode, but we'll see.  The episodes have been really breaking the characters up lately into Sam/Carly, Freddie/Gibby pairings.  I want Freddie and Carly together and a little less Sam and Gibby.  When Carly is on screen it's usually hilarious.  That girl cracks me UP!

I hope this also ends the celebrity run on the show for Season 6 which saw so many celebs pass through with not much plot.  One Directions was the BEST use of a guest star.  But we've also seen Jimmy Fallon, Tina Few, Emma Stone and the Pawn guys.  As my sister commented..enough with the gratuitous celebs.  I want the original cast strong.

YTV should be showing iLost my head in Vegas on Monday at 3pm PST 6pm EST as they just played iRescue Carly.

Also they played iStart a Fan War not long ago.  I was happy to see this rarely shown episode on.  I love Jack Black's cameo.  That was a good use of a celeb.  Spencer's epic "stume" storyline is one of the funniest Spencer stories I've seen.  Although my fave Spencer moments of all time are in iStage an Intervention where he is addicted to Pack Rat and iDate a Bad Boy part 1 where he goes NUTS on Carly for kissing Griffin.  LOVE IT.

Sunday 4 November 2012

Monday's iCarly episode on YTV

So judging by YTVs Monday rotation of iCarly episodes this Monday at 3pm they should be showing iRescue Carly.  For my review, check my post listings.  This was not one of my faves but it was better than iFind Spencer Friends.

iLost my Head in Vegas REVIEW

Well finally I enjoyed an episode!!!  iLost my Head in Vegas was a really funny one.

Synopsis:  Sam's mom gets locked up on Vegas and needs to be bailed out with 2500 bucks.  Spencer agrees to drive them all to Vegas in the RV (which was stolen by Bigfoot previously) if they bring stuff to Pawn.  The guys from the Pawn show are in this one.  Sam and Carly agree to sell a bottle of Wahoo punch signed by the First Lady (who appeared in a previous episode) for 2500 bucks.  On the way to the jail they forget Gibby and have to go back to get him.  Meanwhile Gibby gets robbed of the money he is keeping for them when a dude tricks him into listening to a fake moon rock.  The gang finds out the money is gone but then a little girl wants to buy Gibby's head (from iStill Psycho)  for 10,000 dollars.  Sam vulcan pinches Gibby and they sell the head.

Highlights:

Carly trying to be cool by saying uncool things
Freddie saying "oooh giiiiirl"...was my favourite line!
Spencer driving like a man while putting on lip gloss or chap stick.
Carly and Freddie play Draw something with each other on their pear pads...and Carly's drawing is bad again...which is from a previous episode.
Gibby loses his pants AGAIN.
Gibby appears shirtless again which is the second time this season.  He has not been shirtless since season 3.
Gibby eating too much sugar was hilarious.
The Pawn guys were funny, I loved the guy who is slightly off.  Hilarious.

I really liked this one!  I give it a 4/5.

iLost my Head in Vegas

This Saturday is the 2nd to LAST episode of iCarly.  The episode is called iLost my head in Vegas and will guest start the Pawn Shop guys from the show that Dan loves.  The story is supposed to revolve around Sam's mom going to jail and the gang heading out to Vegas to bail her out.

I'm hoping this episode is better than the other 2 I watched recently.

Also Jennette announced that filming in Vancouver on Swindle has wrapped.  Sad to see the cast go!  I didn't get to see them but having them around Vancouver was exciting.

I'll write my review of the next episode as soon as I can!

Sunday 28 October 2012

iRescue Carly REVIEW

With three episodes remaining it's getting sad!  According to Dan the last episodes are called iLost my head in Vegas, iBust a Thief and iGoodbye.

So far I'm still disappointed that the small Creddie moment in iOpen a Restaurant has NOT been repeated or even mentioned.  Not impressed!!!

So last night's episode was called iRescue Carly.

Synopsis:  Sam's juvie buddy Dana gets released after 3 years and Sam goes to hang with her.  Carly wants to meet her and Sam is not too keen because Carly is too soft and girly.  Carly does meet her and totally has no clue that Dana doesn't care for her.  Dana talks about her smashing a house party and Carly wants to go.  Sam says, no way!!!  Sam goes off to do something and Carly sneaks off to Dana's party where she feels very unsafe.  She calls Freddie to come help her and the three of them get tied up and plates thrown at them.  Sam finds out she's at the party and goes to rescue her with the buttersock and some night vision goggles.  She saves the day by taking out the entire party of hooligans with her butter sock!

Side story:  Spencer finds the night vision goggles and runs around ticking people in the dark, stealing popcorn and having a teddy bear fight with T-Bo.

Highlights:
Once again I wasn't impressed.  I did enjoy the use of Sam's butter sock because she changed the butter and discussed the hard butter.  Gibby is kind of wearing on me...not too keen on him lately.  So I don't have much to say.  The only parts I like are CARLY!!  I love her gummy hearts and how hilarious she is.  Any part with her was great.

Lowlights:  Well most of it...I wasn't impressed.  It was kind of boring.

That's all I got this time around.

Monday 22 October 2012

iGet BANNED on YTV!

Yes...today iGet Banned was on at 3pm on the HD channel of YTV on the west coast.  SO....that must mean they are only playing the episodes one week after they air in the states.  Which is AWESOME.

Also this Saturday is iRescue Carly!!!

iFind Spencer Friends

Alright, I'm a day late getting this up here!

Synopsis:  The gang decides that for Spencer's birthday they are going to get him some more friends.  Socko is out of town so they each find time to find Spencer a "friend".  Spencer then goes to dinner with the new friends but they are all serious and he is not.  Doesn't work out in the end.

Meanwhile Gibby finds a new job by working in a men's toilet.

And that my friends was mostly it.

Emma Stone makes a cameo has a crazied fan in a totally RANDOM part where she runs in and freaks out.  She is hilarious...but it was random.

My opinion:

I did not like this episode.  I kept waiting for it to get better and it didn't.  There were many things I didn't like.  First, why all of a sudden does Spencer need friends?  He's never had a problem with Socko or hanging with his group of mystery friends.  He goes camping and out with them quite often.

I find this season "puking" is the new gag (literally).  In this episode the three "friends" are given a disgusting sub that was meant to go to Freddie but ends up at their table.  Then they puke in Gibby's toilet zone.

Also...where were they?  It wasn't the groovy smoothie...it was some random sub place.

Emma Stone's appearance was pointless and kind of dumb.  I loved her...but the idea was weird.

I rate this one a 1/5 cause I just didn't like it.

Friday 19 October 2012

Spencer's FRIENDS!

Tomorrow night gives us an all NEW iCarly again!  It's like Christmas every Saturday.

This episode is called iFind Spencer Friends and from what I recall the gang tries to get Spencer some adult friends!  Now he has had Socko for a long time, will we finally see Socko?

Also this episode has Emma Stone in it (so I've been told) and she is supposed to be an iCarly super fan.

Should be fun and as always I will review it Sunday!

Sunday 14 October 2012

iGet Banned REVIEW!

Okay this 6th season is awesome!  I am laughing so hard and the actors are really enjoying the crazy of each episode.
Let's get too it!

Synopsis:
In this episode Gibby and Freddie want to get girls and can't figure out why some nerdy guys get hot girls.  Then they find out the guys are in a band.  So they create their own band - the Floors.  They end up getting two girls, one of which is Nathan's real life gf Madisen Hill.  She has one line, but it was cute!  Sam finds out the two are pretending to be in a band and announces on iCarly that they will play a show at the Groovy Smoothie.  Gibby and Freddie plot to fake fight so they don't have to sing and Gibby ends up really punching Freddie out.  Hilarious!

Meanwhile...Carly has a date and T-Bo interrupts it by knocking the guy out with a lemon and his fruit gun.  Carly is NOT impressed that T-Bo keeps coming to her home and doing whatever he wants.  So she banns him from her home.  T-Bo then banns her from the Groovy Smoothie.  Then they make a deal that if Carly can stand spending one night at the Bensons then T-Bo will unbann her or vice versa. Carly spends the night and endures a tick spray, weighing her food and waste and fire drills.  In the end she admits that T-Bo has it bad and allows him to hang anytime with her and Spencer.

Carly's date knocked out by T-Bo

Spencer had a tiny side story where he is wearing a cast and his phone gets stuck in it.  He also had some strange doctor that he didn't want to talk about.

Highlights:

Carly was HILARIOUS!  My fave moment with her was when she goes on iCarly and makes a smoothie to prove anyone can do it...and it's awful.  Carly angry is always funny.
Gibby tells the nerdy guys that they are "ugh...ugh.." and the girls are "wa ho, wa ho"..which is very much like when he was describing the boys bathroom in iBattle Chip.
Gibby and Freddie's song about the Girl walking down the hall....funny!!!
Mrs. Benson being a crazy freak.
Spencer's comment that Carly's french perfume should be called Les Poop.
Sam and her Star Wars moment, using a Jedi mind trick on t-Bo - These are not the droids you are looking for!
Sam totally mocking Freddie and Gibby's band by yelling "awkward silence...woooo!"
Sam in general
Sam running away from them at Carly's place after she tells the iCarly audience about the Floors!!

I had NO points I didn't like!!!  This was a 5/5

LOVED IT!

iGet Banned Sneak Peak

Oh yah!!!

This Saturday is ANOTHER NEW iCarly episode in the US, which means I'll be looking for it Sunday morning on my "other" channels.

So this is the episode where Freddie and Gibby pretend to be in a band to get girls.  Madisen Hill, Nathan's real life gf, will be one of those girls!  Here is a sneak peek that Maddy posted!

Can't WAIT!

iShock America REVIEW!!!

Yes yes!  Finally a new episode of iCarly.  Although it has been SAID it's a new season, it is NOT.  They are carrying on Season 6.  This was Season 6 episode 7 - iSHOCK AMERICA...Previously listed as iLove Jimmy Fallon.  This was an hour long episode!

Recap:

This episode starts with Spencer watching Jimmy Fallon on the couch with his mystery girlfriend that he met at a drive through window.  As usual, his gf is trying to get some love, but Spencer is hooked on watching the show.  We see this in iStill Psycho when Cassie wants some love and Spencer wants to play the new video game.

Jimmy comes on and does his thank you segment and thanks iCarly.  Spencer proceeds to drag Carly and Freddie out of their beds.  Carly is wearing the mask again, like in iDate Sam and Freddie.
Sam calls on the phone and Gibby shows up at the apartment.

A running joke between Gibby and Spencer is when Gibby walks his gf home and then she seems to like gibby more.

iCarly then does a spoof of Jimmy and Jimmy calls to invite the on his show.  They go to New York where Gibby buys some street pants for 3 bucks.  During the show Gibby loses his pants while dancing and flashes all of America.  He had no underwear on because his luggage was lost.

Carly's running joke begins where she pukes into several different hats, once after seening Gibby naked and again when iCarly is threatened with being shut down.

The iCarly's end up in front of the NCC which fines them 500,000 bucks.  There is a cute Seinfeld scene where they discuss the money and Freddie plays George and then spencer comes in with a Kramer like flair!

In the end Jimmy raises the money for them to pay off the NCC and all is saved.

Highlights!:

this one was FUNNY!

I loved Carly's hat puking
Gibby's street pants
Gibby and Spencer's gf!
The entire Seinfeld scene in particular Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor's dead on impressions.
Spencer turning the angry Mel doll into a Spencer doll
Spencer's reoccuring run ins with the bike messenger
The Ugly Doll placed in the hotel room was a shout out to Jennette who is a huge fan of ugly dolls.
Freddie's mom getting bashed on life tv!
The random dancing with Jimmy
Duct taping Gibby's pants on
Carly's reaction to anything to do with Gibby naked!

Anything I would change?:

Yes, I didn't like the puke describing, which Sam was doing....ew.
Also Sam throwing Jimmy under the bus to the NCC was bizarre because none of the characters stood up for Jimmy and yet Jimmy helped them in the end.

Other than that...hilarious!!!  4/5 for sure!

On a side note.  Friday night Jerry Trainor was ON Jimmy Fallon.  He was hilarious..as always!  He also said his new show is called Wendell and Vinnie.

Friday 5 October 2012

NEW iCarly tomorrow!

So excited to see iShock America tomorrow night!  I will have to wait a little longer than most to get it, but I will see and review it ASAP!

Clevver TV tweeted this video about the episode!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=XtnzrT7VsYc#!

Also Jerry Trainor will be on Jimmy Fallon tonight, which I am taping and will talk about tomorrow.

Nathan is BACK from Michigan!  So he's been tweeting from LA and is now spending time with Madisen again.

Meanwhile Jennette and Noah are still here with me in Vancouver filming Swindle, based on a book by Gordon Korman.  Still waiting to run into them.

Monday 24 September 2012

Swindle...part 2

Okay after I searched the web I found out that BC filming is listed in a nice PDF file.  Swindle is listed as a TV MOVIE and is set to film from Oct. 1 - Nov. 1.  It is based in North Van!!  I shall find you iCarlys...oh I shall.

iShock America TRAILER

OMG OMG OMG

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yPGstAmbAg&feature=player_embedded

The long promo!!!  of iShock America (aka iLove Jimmy Fallon).

Oct. 6th....yes yes.

Swindle - the MOvie

Okay, after surfing the web I found info on the reason Noah and Ariana and JENNETTE will be in Vancouver for a few months.  They are filming a Nick movie called Swindle.  So I hope to find them at some point!  I would LOVE to meet all of them :)

iShock America

Yes this is the new one hour special airing on US tv October 6!!!  I will review it as soon as I manage to get in on my special channel.  I believe this is the previously named iLove Jimmy Fallon.  I know that in that episode Gibby has a wardrobe malfunction that I believe will SHOCK AMERICA!  Therefore the name.  So stay tuned.

Also Noah Munck is IN VANCOUVER until November!!!  I wonder where?   I will need to find out as I'd LOVE to meet him and post a pic on here.

Also in Vancouver is Ariana Grande of Sam and Cat/Victorious fame.  Both her and Noah left for Vancouver today...where they on the same flight?  Why are they here?  I have NO IDEA.  I will let you know ASAP!

Also I noticed my PVR taped iBattle Chip today at 3pm on YTV so, it is now playing on that channel in Canada.  See my review!

Sunday 23 September 2012

I forgot!!

Forgot to mention in my last post that the pilots of sam and Cat and Gibby are both taped and ready to be shown.

Nathan Interview

Clevver TV recently interviewed Nathan when the cast was at the Creative Emmys.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LYc09uGurtY#!

Meanwhile Jennette did her Cirque de Soleil fan night in LA.  She invited all her fans to attend Iris, playing in LA.  I couldn't go!!!  I wish!  Looks like she is in good with the cast and has seen it multiple times.

Dan hinted that an episode of iCarly is coming soon, it was retitled.  I believe it's the iLove Jimmy Fallon one but it's been renamed something about shaming america.  So I'll recheck that title soon.
I'm hoping that it airs next weekend because they showed a new Victorious this weekend.

Noah rapped his movie in Montreal.  Nathan's movie has been renamed Black Sky from Category Six. And Miranda is studying hard at school while still performing some concerts on weekends.

That's what's happening right now!

Tuesday 11 September 2012

SNEAK PEEK of iLove Jimmy Fallon

Check out this peak Dan gave us of an upcoming episode titled iLove Jimmy Fallon.  Definitely doing a spoof on SEINFELD in this one.  Same restaurant and Freddie is doing George to a tee.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUnLg4gg9rw

Enjoy!!!

Noah's Girlfriend

Well this past week I noticed that Schyler Dixon who was dating Noah is dating a new guy now so I'm assuming they broke up at some point.

I think they dated for 2 months.

Meanwhile, Nathan is still filming in Detroit.  Noah is finished filming in Montreal and I have no idea what the girls have been doing other than school and seeing shows together.

Nathan's movie changed titles so I'll update you on that when I remember what it was!

And YTV played iStill Psycho recently, which was nice!  It rarely gets played.

Twitter updates

What's up with the iCarly cast this week?

Nathan is still in Detroit filming Category Six.  He's been asked to sing karaoke by cast members but has kept to a routine for getting enough sleep for each day.  He doesn't like being away from his family at all.  Meanwhile Madisen has been missing him as well.

Jennette has become obsessed with Iris the show by Cirque de Soleil currently in LA.  She even invited fans to join her Sept. 22 at 8pm for the show!

Miranda started classes at USC last week!

Noah is in Montreal filming a movie (?) as well.

Jerry has been silent on twitter, which is very normal.  He doesn't tweet much.

September is coming!  Does that mean more iCarly's?????

Thursday 2 August 2012

new spinoff premises

Okay as I just reported...Nickelodeon has given the green light to two spin-offs of iCarly...and shine-on media.com reports the following premises

here might also be another familiar face joining Jennette’s pilot – Ariana Grande. In the tentatively titled “Sam & Cat,” sassy Sam and eccentric Cat (Ariana as her “Victorious” character) buddy up as roommates and start a babysitting business to fund their adventures.
In “Gibby” (working title), zany Gibby gets a gig at a recreational center where he winds up as a mentor to four offbeat middle-school students.
Sounds interesting.  Not sure how Cat and Sam will meet living in different cities.  BUT Arianna and Jennette not only have the exact same birthdays but are also best buds in real life, so this will be fun.  As for Gibby being a mentor...should be funny!
I hope the comedy is more iCarly like then the horrible acting on Drake and Josh.  Miranda was fab but I hated how OVER reactive Josh always was.  I can't stand watching that kind of acting.  So PLEASE make this less like that!!!

WOW!!! New iCarly spinoffs!

I am surprised to report that both new shows for Noah Munch and Jennette McCurdy will be based on their iCarly characters!!!

Noah's show is called "Gibby" and so I assume will be based off of his iCarly character.  Since it's my belief that Carly goes away to college and most likely Freddie follows her and they fall in love (yes that is MY prediction)...Gibby and Sam are left.

So Jennette's new show is called Sam and Cat (or at least that is what twitter says)...so Arianna Grande will be double dipping with Victorious and Sam and Cat.  So how does Sam get to Los Angeles???  Will iGoodbye show us that?  Now all I really need is a show called Freddie and Carly do College and I'm all set to go!

Jerry Trainor will be on his nick show playing a DIFFERENT character.

I will report anything else I know as soon as I can!

Madisen's reply!

I was psyched to find a reply from Madisen Hill sitting in my twitter box yesterday!  I had no idea she'd reply to little ole me!  I simply was saying I can't wait to see her on Step UP or SYTYCD and she replied she WISHED she was in Step up quite badly and she would never do reality tv.

I guess that means I won't get to see Nathan and Madi do a reality show :(  Bummer.

Meanwhile MIRANDA won at the Teen Choice Awards tonight!  Way to go lady!  Nathan tweeted he wished he was there.  He also let us know that the catering trucks on his movie set are going to make him fat so he has a little jar of fruit he eats from.

I noticed a lot of you are searching iDate a Bad Boy!  Well I love that episode so I hope you found what you were looking for :)

Spot Nathan in Detroit!!!

Nathan leaves very soon to start filming Category 6 in Detroit Michigan!  Lucky Detroit!  If you spot this cutey pie PLEASE take a pic and send me a copy :)

Dan's twitter hints

YAY!  Today Dan said that their are 9 iCarly half hours left to view and they are coming on SOON!
Could this mean a summer run of shows?  I hope so.  Now I know at least 1 of these shows is an hour, and possibly iLove Jimmy Fallon as well making it 5 1/2 hours and 2 hour long shows to watch!  So excited!!!

He also let us know that the LAST word in the final iCarly is "out".

I can't WAIT!  Canada is finally showing season 6 episodes in the re-runs so the 1am/1:30am shows last night were iBloop 2 (Season 5) and iGo one Direction!!! (Season 6)...YES!  Finally they don't just role over into iPilot.

Also, check out DanWarp on YouTube for a cute video of the iCarly kids when they first auditioned...better yet..I'll put it here for you!

News from Jennette

Jennette does an inteview with Teen Vogue that is now online.  She spills that many questions will be answered in the final episode iGoodbye.  Which leads me to ask several questions that I HOPE will be answered.

Will Freddie find out that Melanie is real?  Will Melanie return?
Where is Freddie's Dad?
Where is Carly's Mom?
What does Colonel Shay look like?
Will Carly ever truly love Freddie?

I hope a few of these will be answered.

She also said she is taping her new show in August!  So hopefully we'll hear a bit more about it.

Miranda and Nathan move on

It's been an exciting week of news for two former iCarly cast members!

People magazine reported that Miranda is excited to be going to USC this fall.  She will stay in a dorm and is going to take theater because she hasn't done any stage productions.  She didn't want to go out of California for school because she plans to continue acting while she's in college.  Miranda was at Universal studios in Florida with her Despicable Me cast mates opening up a ride there.

Nathan's exciting news is that he will be in a new movie called "Category Six".  He will play a brother looking for a sibling after a category six tornado rips through his town.  Sounds like it will be filmed similar to Blair Witch with the actors talking into their own technology.  Very cool!

In iCarly land I found out the names and some more on several unaired episodes.

iGet Banded is the name of the show I keep messing up!  Freddie and gibby will be trying to impress some girls (one of them Nathan's real GF Madisen!) by either pretending to be in a band or joining a band.  They will play guitar and bass.

iRescue Carly is another episode.  Not sure of any other details.

The Pawn Shop Episode is as yet unnamed but may have Jane Lynch returning??

iGoodbye is set to have Carly moving away (to college?) and Colonel Shay will appear for the first time (since his birthday where he was scrambled).  Who will play him?  Did they get Tom Hanks like they wanted?

There are also unnamed episodes #12 and 13 one of which has Emma Stone playing a crazed iCarly superfan.

and of course iLove Jimmy Fallon which I have blogged about several times.

My hope is that with Carly moving away Freddie and Carly admit they love each other and it ends on a Creddie high.  Only because the show should wrap up those feelings.  Maybe Freddie decides to get on the plane with her!!!  Oh I can hope.

iPear Store airs on YTV!

This Friday July 6th, YTV will be airing iPear Store!  I've reviewed it before when it aired on NICK in the US!  It's hilarious so be sure to check it out.  Should be on Friday 6:30pm E/P.  I usually find they air 3:00pm on YTVHD on the West Coast.  Check your own tv guide for accurate times.  I have no idea why the time listed is not right for the West Coast feed...it's so weird!

Nathan's new project

Nathan's twitter account has been pretty quiet lately, for that matter all the iCarlys have been quiet, BUT yesterday Nathan hinted that he had something exciting in the works and he had to wait to say what it was.  The same day Dan called Nathan and they had a chat where he referred to him still as "boss".  Dan is no longer Nathan's boss so speculation is that he is AGAIN and that Nathan has a new production in the works with Dan.

Stay tuned!!!  I hope it's true :)

Final filming has happened

I'm late blogging this..or I may be re-blogging it BUT last Wednesday was the final day of filming for the iCarly cast.  There was plenty of twitter moments of sadness.  The entire cast and Dan have tweeted several times about how they feel with it ending.  So I was very down that day.  I was surprisingly effected by it all!  I'm sad because I'll never get the chance to watch them tape an episode!  I was hoping to do that one day.

Anyway, twitter has been pretty quiet on updates.  Today's thread was between Nathan and Schyler (Noah's gf).  They were talking about some zombie game and how they want to get together to defeat the zombies.  Madisen has been sick.  Miranda has been VERY QUIET...and Jennette randomly tweets random stuff.

Something I think I need to fix on here, iGet Banned, may be iGet Banded!  There is an episode where Freddie and Gibby join a band...so I'm not sure if I'm right in assuming that the mystery episode of iGet Banned/Banded may have to do with that.

There will be no more new iCarly's coming out until the fall...unless you live in Canada where they have yet to show iBattle Chip and iPear Store.  BUT when they do tune into my new youtube CHANNEL! - sandralynndaviss and I'll be reviewing them AGAIN for Canada on the screen.

Some other shows I'll be reivewing are:  True Blood, Master Chef, Hell's Kitchen, Teen Mom, SYTYCD, and Rookie Blue.  So if you are into those shows, take a peek.  Also don't forget to tune in when BIG BROTHER starts up again in July cause I'll be there!  Reviewing my cookies off.

To the iCarly cast I will MISS you!!!  I loved the show and will continue to watch and review it.  I wish Jerry, Jennette, and Noah well with their new shows on Nick.  Miranda well at School and Nathan well with his auditioning!  I really hope Nathan gets picked up to do a more mature show or drama.  That would be awesome!

The Jathan Myth

Okay people it's time for a reality check.

As I've mentioned before there are Seddie and Creddie fans.  BUT there are also extremists I call the Jathan fans.  These are people who for some reason have blurred the lines of reality and believe that not only should Sam and Freddie get together but their real life portrayers Jennette and Nathan should get together.  WHAT??? (let me point out I have NOT found the same extremists calling for a Miranda/Nathan pairing in reality...)

Okay I'm all for loving fictional characters (as I am a Creddie fan, although I won't DIE if they don't love each other, I just root for them cause they are cute!), but I am NOT for writing mean tweets to real people telling them to get together.

So here is why I'm a little peeved.  Yesterday was Madisen Hill's birthday.  She is Nathan's girlfriend, in reality.  Madisen had a cool day and tweeted her pics of her and Nathan having fun.  Now I LOVE this!  These two make me want to be 20 again and be all in love and cute!  But as I was looking at the pics I noticed some nasty people had written obscene remarks to Madisen that it should be Jennette in the photos and not her..and called her some nasty stuff.  WHAT!!!  First of all people,  Madisen is a 20 year old girl who you need to leave the beep alone!  Second, why are you following her if your main goal is to just write crap on her feed and try to upset her?

I give Madisen major props for NOT responding to you people!  And I'm old enough to want to take you people by the ear and give you a stern talking to, you won't forget.  Let Nathan and Madisen enjoy their lives without your negative crap.  I do feel sorry that they have to live in the limelight and hear this crap.  But at least I can use my blog to voice how I feel about it!!

Last iCarly being filmed

It was revealed on twitter by Jerry that they are currently filming their last episode.  I'm not sure if it's called iGoodbye, but that is what he tweeted.  Very emotional week for them as they usually film one episode in a week.

Good bye iCarly :(

I can't wait to see all the episodes still to air:  iGet Banned, iLove Jimmy Fallon, iGoodbye (which I believe will be an hour long).

iBattle Chip Review!

Hello Canadian fans!  I managed to find a copy of iBattle Chip and now for my review!

Synopsis:

Main plot:  Chuck attacks Spencer one last time.  Spencer reports him to the cops and Chuck gets sent to military school.  In revenge, his little brother Chip starts to bully Spencer and in a joining of plots, Gibby's phaser explodes throwing Chip into his own trap for Spencer!

Subplot:  Gibby gets a phaser from Galaxy Wars that he LOVES.  During a fight at the Groovy Smoothie where Sam uses her butter sock, his phaser is broken.  Freddie fixes it, a little too well by making it a real phaser that melts things.  Gibby then sets his phaser on overload and it is set to blow.  Spencer throws it down the hallway where Chip is setting a trap for him (he doesn't know that).  It explodes and Chip gets stuck in the trap!

Running gag:  Sam uses her butter sock on a bully and then changes the butter later, where we get to see the green mold of the old butter.

Awesomeness:

I LOVE an episode that has the butter sock!

I laughed out loud a LOT this episode.  Gibby was hilarious.  The bit about how gross guy's bathrooms are was pretty awesome too.

Loved Freddie and Gibby geeking out over the phaser and ignoring "Cheerleaders underwater".

Also Sam steals the pepperoni off of a pizza.

Spencer is also hilarious in this one as he gets constantly tormented by Chip.

I like how Sam finally changed the butter in the sock, which was a running gag in iStill Psycho where she was asked if she changed the butter.

What would I change?

Maybe having Chip get whipped by the butter sock!
Also where did Chip come from?  In iBeat the Heat in season 4 Chuck's whole family comes to be in the air conditioned apartment and he is revealed to have an older sister Gia.  Either Chip was away with the mom or didn't exist.  Either way, we didn't know he existed til now.

Rating - 4/5 - needed more buttersock!  Other than that it was hilarious!
