iHalfoween REVIEW!

Alright another night of iCarly!  Tonight I have managed for find a version of iHalfoween to watch on my secret channel and now THE REVIEW!

Synopsis:  A costume convention is in town and the iCarly's decide it would be fun to dress up.  But Halloween is still 6 months away.  So they decide to throw a halfoween party.  Meanwhile a nemesis is typing revenge into his computer...who could it be?
The party begins, Spencer rigs up some crazy game where people get lowered into a basket, then raised after a few seconds.  They have to grab prizes.  As I mentioned previously, Carly was dressed as sushi, Sam as Hand Sanitizer, Freddie as Lewbert, and Gibby was Aluminum man!

At the party a mystery guest dresses up as a purple robot and gives Sam, Carly and Freddie some candy.  They eat it and their voices go VERY DEEP.  They hunt down the robot.  Freddie finds him first and of course it's NEVEL!  Nevel is out for revenge because the ICarlys didn't help him get back his reputation after he yelled at the man in the wheel chair (iPity the Nevel).
His bodyguards put the robot costume on Freddie and make it so he can't take it off or say anything.

Then they release him.  Spencer and Gibby catch him and then the crew Dunks him the basket 20 times.  Torturing Freddie and not Nevel.  Nevel reveals himself and they realize what they've done.  Carly then tricks Nevel into believing she wants to help him and they end up dunking the real Nevel in the end.

Great bits:
Freddie was AWESOME as Lewbert.  He did the voice and the random weirdness very well.  I loved Carly's costume!  I enjoyed seeing Nevel back to his evil ways.  That's always fun.
Gibby was rude to some hot girls who recognized him from iCarly - which he doesn't like!  A running gag in the series now.
The story was good, Nevel's revenge was well planned.
Sam is hilarious when she gets the deep voice.  She says "Luke I am your father" and other hilarious lines.
Everyone's reactions to the deep voices are funny too, especially Spencer's to Freddie..he freaks out!

Not so great bits:
I wish Sam's costume was better.  When it was over I was like...that's it?  I wanted more.
There were no Freddie love bits (which I miss!).

I would give this one 4/5  - it made me laugh out loud several times!

The Top 5 Season 1 Episodes

For fun I thought I'd post MY top five Season 1 MUST SEE episodes.  Since I just rewatched the entire thing AGAIN.

#1 - iWin a Date - this is my all time FAVOURITE Season 1 episode.  This episode focuses on Gibby's crush on a girl named Shannon, who has a crush on Freddie.  Carly sets up a game show where Gibby will pick a date based on answers to his questions.  He ends up picking Carly and hilarity ensues.  Why I love this episode?
1)  Gibby's table dance at the end of the show is EPIC Gibby
2) Carly's crazy voice on the game show and the crazy stuff she says to Gibby...Rap's tight YO!
3) the girls saying TWO over and over to get Gibby to figure out he needs to pick girl #2

There are more but I love watching this one!

#2 - iHate Sam's Boyfriend is another fave.  Sam gets a boyfriend and drives everyone NUTS by texting him non-stop.  In the end he hits on Carly, Sam finds out and they Wedgie Bounce him!

I love the Wedgie Bounce!

#3 - iWant to stay with Spencer - This episode makes me cry every time.  I love the brother/sister love with Carly and Spencer.  Basically Carly's grandfather wants Carly to move to Yakima with him because Spencer is not a good caretaker.  In the end Spencer proves he is a great guardian and Carly gets to stay!  Even though I know the ending Jerry Trainor and Miranda Cosgrove SELL this one for me!

#4 - iPromise Not to Tell - Sam changes Carly and Freddie's grades on the school system and this leads Carly and Freddie to lose their minds with guilt.  Carly is hilarious in this episode as her hair falls out and she can't TAKE the heat.  I also love Sam and Principal Franklin's "regular Tuesday meeting" as she outlines the bad stuff she did that week and why.  LOVE IT!

#5 - i'M your biggest fan - the beginning of MANDY.  ICarly's fave fan comes and drives the nuts by transferring to their school and not leaving them alone.  I love the girl who plays Mandy she is awesome!  She makes me laugh!

And TWO honourable mentions:  Both iNevel and iRue the Day because Nevel is great!  Anytime Reed Alexander shows up and tells Carly to RUE THIS.  I'm all for it!  I couldn't decide which one I liked better!

Season One has a few interesting issues in it too.  Freddie's voice is constantly a different pitch throughout as it doesn't fully change til season 2.  He's also tiny with spiky hair and spazzy!  He's a lot quicker to react to Sam than in seasons after where she may smack and he just ignores her...in Season One he's spring on her.

Gibby is introduced slowly and then becomes more and more a constant character, whipping his shirt off.

Mrs. Benson becomes crazier as the season goes on.  So it's fun to watch the characters change through each season!

Tell ME what your fave Season 1 episode is?  Or do you think I'm wrong??  Next up I'll put my least faves from Season 1...as there is ONE that I really hate!!!

Twitter happenings and iCarly episode titles

Well twitter has been a quiet place recently.  Jennette has been posting about her trip to Australia recently but not much.  Nathan however had a mysteriously PISSED off day yesterday.  From his tweets I can only guess that someone lied to him and he was very upset.  He and Madisen hung out last night and ate junk food to make it all better.  Which I thought was hilarious.  Also I found out that Madisen's show - Madison is a comedy based on a girl trying to make it in the dance/singing world.

ALSO I found out that Madisen will be in the iCarly episode titled iGet Banned..which has been reported as iGet Banded...but Madisen's site said it was called iGet Banned.  So I'm excited to see that ep, and iPear Store (if that is what the ep is called where Freddie gets a job!).  Apparently according to this picture Sam messes his job all up!!!

There is also rumoured to be an ep titled iRescue Carly.  We will have to see what that is about!

2 DAYS until iHalfoween!!!  I'm excited.  Freddie will be Lewbert, Carly a spicy tuna roll AND Sam's outfit has been revealed as Hand Sanitizer.  So that mystery is now solved.

iCarly couple at Disneyland

I'm LATE getting this on here but last Friday Nathan took a trip to Disneyland and although he did not mention Madisen, she was also there.  They went with a friend from Nathan's NBC movie "Game of your life" which I have yet to see!  Apparently you can now buy it on DVD.  So maybe people can let me know if I should get it brought up here to Canada?  Is it worth it...I need answers people!

Also Madisen tweeted that she was working on her own show pilot.  It has a facebook page and so far I know only a few things.  It's called Madisen and it stars Madisen.  Yup, it has a producer/director but that's all.  She said cast will be announced soon.  I would like to know it's premise?  Is it a comedy, drama?  Teen show like 90210?

Last of all, in my last post I said iPear Store would air next week, I am WRONG!!!  iHalfoween airs this Saturday in the states.  I will be reviewing it Sunday in the wee hours for ya!

iOpen a Restaurant REVIEW

Yes it's 2:30am and I just finished watching iOpen a Restaurant!  Seems it's much easier to find it during the wee hours of the morning here in Canada!

Synopsis:  Gibby opens a restaurant in the basement of Ridgeway.  Sam becomes his partner and they become pretty successful.  Some guy gets out of juvie and starts giving Gibby a hard time!  Sam gets out the butter sock and kicks that guys ASS.  Mr. Howard catches Gibby and Sam but it seems Principal Franklin is already a customer at the restaurant.  Howard was told by Billy the bully what Gibby and Sam were doing.  In the end Franklin pretends to shut down Gibby's but asks them to keep it open after Mr. Howard leaves!

Subplot:  The Shays are robbed during an iCarly show.  Spencer makes a robot that shoots popcorn (unpopped) at anyone who moves.  Spencer mistakenly arms it and can't unarm it, causing Freddie, Carly and Spencer to be trapped.  Later Mrs. Benson becomes the target of the robot in an attempt for Spencer to unplug it.  By the time he does the popcorn runs out anyway.

Minisubplot:  Freddie's crush on Carly returns!

I loved this episode!  It was hilarious!

Parts I loved:
As a huge Creddie fan I loved when Freddie says "is it too late for you to love me?"  and Carly was like...what?  and he denied saying anything.  Than later in the restaurant he wants to follow Carly out and Sam says...do you have a new crush on Carly?  Once again...denial.

Gibby's love of pepper flakes in everything including the lemonade.  And the return AGAIN of Gibby's head near the Gibby's sign.

Sam asks for a pound of butter in preparation of beating the crap out of Billy with the butter sock.  The voilent beating sprays butter all over Gibby's face!

The awesome action scene where Spencer, Carly and Freddie dive over the counter to escape from the robot.

Carly was hilarious when she at the pepper in her food and drink and then ran screaming up the stairs, then down again and then back up.

Parts I didn't love:

NONE!  I actually appreciated seeing Mr. Howard, Mrs. Benson, Gibby's head, Mr. Franklin and the butter sock.  No T-Bo was fine too!

I rate this a 5/5 cause it was VERY AWESOME.  I can't wait til next episode which is rumoured to be iPear Store where Freddie gets a job followed by iHalfoween (with Freddie dressed as Lewbert and Carly as sushi).

Oh and at the end the credit clip was Freddie telling everyone that boys do indeed cry and the four dudes crying.

And now I shall go watch it again!  Once again...I wish itunes Canada got updated episodes FASTER! I'd buy this one right now.

Nathan and Madisen tweets and new episode

Hello ALL

Just an update.  Madisen and Nathan were full on romancing the tweet yesterday.  Madisen was listening to Justin B's song Boyfriend and lamenting her long ride home and time away from BF Nathan.  Nathan then tweeted that he couldn't find a song called Girlfriend that wasn't negative or nasty.  Fans tweeted him some ideas (including me and my sister).

Then they started personally tweeting each other which you RARELY see.  Madisen quote Boyfriend with "@NathanKress will you be my Buzz Lightyear" and then he replied with a line about lighting you up while you lay in the snow (also from the song).  They ended their romantic tweeting with hurry home and I'm driving as fast as I can.

This morning Madisen must have stopped by the set because Nathan tweeted he's reunited and now was on set rehearsing.

Anyway, on another note iOpen a Restaurant is airing this weekend!  Apparently GIBBY opens it and it's called "Gibby's"..that's all I know.  Of course in Canada YTV has yet to air iGo One Direction or this one so I'm waiting!!!  I did get to watch the last one, so stay tuned for my review Sunday.
The iCarly Wiki (which is an AWESOME place for info) also shows two videos of promos for the episode.  So go there for some awesome vids.  It also lists that the restaurant will be in the basement of Ridgeway and Principal Franklin will return!  Yay!  I've missed him.

iCarly hits VEGAS

Apparently Dan is a huge fan of some pawn shop reality guys in Vegas!  So  iCarly does an episode set in Vegas (I don't think they WENT to Vegas because the cast never tweeted it).  Anyway it will feature a storyline where Sam's mom is in a Vegas jail and they have to bail her out.  They will have to pawn stuff (where the reality guys come in) to get her out!

I still do NOT have a YTV air date for iGo One Direction.  I will keep searching and will update you as soon as I find it.  This week they are playing season 5 on repeat ALL episodes and then back to iPilot.  So nothing with Season 6 ep. 2 yet.

The Awww moment

Just a little update tonight.

I was about to go to bed when I saw that Nathan had tweeted.  He and his gf Madisen had been chatting on video link and he commented how nice it was to chat with her while they both fell asleep. 
Can this guy get any cuter?  I had to smile and awww about that.

iGo One Direction REVIEW!

Yes!  I finally found a channel to play it on!  So for you Canadian Fans, this was a GREAT episode.  Let's get to it:

Main Plot:
Carly and Spencer return from a tropical locale where Carly has contracted "jungle worms".  She is told she is contagious.  So she uses this little water bottle with handguns that Spencer got her in Texas.  No one is to drink from this water bottle.  One Direction sends an email to Freddie that they will appear on iCarly!  Sam, Carly, and Gibby start to scream and get very excited (Gibby is a HUGE fan).  While rehearsing Harry drinks out of Carly's water bottle and gets the worms.  He can't perform!  Well at least we think he can't.  Turns out Harry was sick for 2 days and then got better but liked Carly taking care of him so he fakes a few more days.  To get him back they pretend to replace him in the band with Gibby!  Harry then admits he's well and they perform on iCarly.

Subplot:
Spencer gets an exercise machine from the junk yard.  A hot chick comes to the door and is impressed by the machine so he pretends he's a personal trainer.  BUT the hot chick sends her brat daughter to get trained.  The daughter admits that no one likes her and insists she needs a makeover.  So in a montage Spencer makes her over...hideously.  At the end the girl runs down the hallway!

Great Parts:


SO MANY!  I loved this episode.
Gibby's love for One Direction is quite hilarious.  He screams and jumps up and down like a girl.  He keeps a scrapbook that he says is his sister's and gets it signed by 1D.  He also truly believes he is replacing Harry and wonders what the "plan" is.
Carly calls Freddie "hot pants" at one point in time.
The entire Groovy Smoothie scene is hilarious.  Sam tells Carly Harry is faking his illness.  Freddie admits, if Carly was taking care of HIM like that he'd fake it too.  He calls Carly's care "Hotel Carlifornia" and then says "yeah I said it, and I'm proud".

Sam tells the guys (1D) she is NOT currently dating anyone and at the end of the episode she is seen dragging one of the guys into the elevator with her.

Meanwhile two standards return!  #1 Sam mentions the buttersock as a way to get Harry to quit faking being sick.  #2 Gibby's head shows up at the end during song.

At the end of Spencer's story as the girl runs away he yells "our story can't end like this!  There has to be a resolution!"  Awesome.  And Sam tells him he's a tall marshmallow when he tells them he's fit.

So many awesome moments!  I have nothing bad to say, I LOVED IT!  5/5!!!

Can't wait to see it on YTV.  I'll let you know the airdate as soon as I get find it.

NEW episodes names released!!

Okay I'm just about to WATCH the new iCarly on my secret Canadian uplink!  BUT before I do that I have some dates and names of the next episodes.  The next 3 episodes will be:

iOpen a Restaurant - April 21st

iHalfoween - OOh that halloween episode I told you about!!! April 28th

and iGet Banded!  No air date yet.

Keep in mind these are American air dates.  BUT YTV did air the last episode 1 week later.  As they did the Nick Kids Choice Awards so maybe you only have to wait 1 week!  We'll see.

Also tonight iCarly trended with 7 Worldwide Trends at once!  Including a shout out to Gibby!  so this episode must have some awesome Gibby in it!

iCarly opening Credits!

Dan just tweeted the NEW Season 6 opening.  Which looks awesome!  Carly in her sushi outfit, the gymnastics bit...and Freddie working at the pear pad store!  Anyway, can't wait to see the new episode which I've been calling iGet One Direction, which is WRONG.  It's called iGO One Direction...my bad!

Oh and is that Freddie dressed up as Lewbert????  Fun times!

iBalls airs again

For those in CANADA who have not seen iBalls yet.  It is airing Saturday the 7th at 2:30PST on YTV.  I was very pleased to see it airing again as I had missed it the last time.  It's one of the episodes I've only seen twice.  I've seen most episodes about 5 times or more each.

iGot One Direction and Twitter updates

Hello fellow FANS!  Tomorrow another NEW episode of iCarly will be on.  iGot One Direction (originally titled iGot Jungle Worms) will air on Nick in the U.S.  However, I will review it as soon as I find it on my special station the next day!  So stay tuned Canadian fans.  This one sounds like it's going to be great!

What do I know about it?  Well One Direction will be on it (duh) and they will be playing a large part in the storyline.  Apparently Spencer and Carly return from an exotic locale (rumoured to be Mexico) and Carly get's Jungle Worms.  Somehow Harry (One Direction dude) also gets them and the story revolves a little around him.  One Direction fans were a little put out on twitter because they felt the focus on ONE band member over the other 4 was not right.  We shall see how Harry does in his semi-starring role.

It is also rumoured that GIBBY fills in for one of the guys singing.  Now, I know Noah has a great voice (as heard in iCan't Take it)...but what will that be like?  Stay tuned!

When asked about who they would like to date, it is interesting that Niall named Miranda Cosgrove!  Oooh ahhh.

In Twitter news.  Nathan has been down lately because his gf Madisen is off on a road trip to her home state of Missouri.  Nathan tweeted that he was missing someone before they'd even left and sure thing, the next morning Madisen was tweeting that she was leaving on her roadtrip that morning.  So big HUGS to Nathan.

Nathan, Noah, Jerry and Jennette were working on webisodes last week.  Perhaps pod casts and perhaps those little end of show bits they do sometimes.  TBo was also there!  Miranda appeared to not be included and was at the gym.

This past week for a few days the entire case was in the studio working.  Not sure if they are doing the next episode or little bits here and there.  But there schedule has changed.  Dan was filming Victorious the first half and of the week and then iCarly the last half, which made the cast have to switch from their usual Monday-Friday schedule.  They have also been working really late.

Kid's Choice Awards and YTV updates

So I watched my first EVER KCA awards yesterday.  At least I think it was my first, as I don't recall the 80s or 90s watching it.  Anyway, Will Smith was the host and the following are the highlights and lowlights decided by ME!

Highlights:


Will Smith coming from the ceiling was pretty awesome.
Learning about Taylor Swift's efforts to help others and her receiving the silver blimp award.
When Justin Bieber showed up as a surprise at the end and was totally slimed!
Jennette McCurdy presenting Katy Perry's performance.
Miranda presenting with Robert Downey Jr (who looked AMAZING!)
Jennette and Miranda's dresses.
Chris Colfer being slimed.

Lowlights:


Jennette NOT getting her award on tv.  Luckily for fans she tweeted a youtube video in response and thanked her fans.  But Nickelodeon spelled her name wrong on her award AGAIN.

Victorious won best tv show...NOT iCARLY!!!  Which was a burn to me.  They had won 3 times before and I was hoping to see the cast up on stage.  Luckily I like the cast of Victorious so it didn't suck too much.

Miranda didn't win best tv actress, that went to Selena Gomez AGAIN...her show doesn't even film anymore.

Not getting to see Noah or Nathan or Jerry bummed out!

So in these videos they are asking for more slime which leads me to my last BUMMER.  There was barely any sliming!!  Okay so they got Halle Berry, Justin B, Will himself, some wrestlers, Chris Colfer...I can't really say it was an epic sliming.

I didn't feel the KCAs were actually based on the voting, I felt that perhaps they were fixed a bit.  That's my opinion.  Cause most of the time was like...WHO won?  WHAT???  Who voted for that???

And last of all, it was only 1.5 hours long which meant most of the awards were not given out on tv.  GRRRR!

YTV Update


To my SHOCK I was really excited to see that YTV aired iApril Fools AND iGet Pranky today.  I was just lamenting the fact that Pranky was never on!  I love that one!  And it only took 1 week for Canadian TV to air the newest iCarly.  Most impressive.

Twitter Feed Updates


What's up in the land of iCarly stars?
Well last night it looks like most of them attended an after-party at "Ari's" house.  Now is that short for Ariana Grande?  Not sure.  But I know Noah and Nathan went because Nathan got home super late and tweeted at 1am.  Noah took a pick of himself and his 3 brothers and sister with Josh Hutcherson at the party (he is peeta in hunger games).  Looked like fun!  I don't know if Jennette went since she was home doing that youtube video.

Last night trends included:  Congratulations Jeanette (spelling her name wrong on purpose!), Miranda is OUR favourite and iCarly is our Favourite.  Both protesting the loses of Miranda and iCarly.  I do believe that Victorious fans also trended with a congrats to that cast.
